Really like the school of fish composite mon. Takes the whole dugtrio/magneton concept of "three of these things is actually an entirely different thing" to another level.

Think the sandcastle(s) are some combination of ground/ghost, or pure ground? Golurk is a bulky physical fighter, but I'd wager the sandcastle is a special attacker.

I just did the 6th gym. This is fine with me because a lot of my pokemon are traded and with Exp Share I'm beating everything pretty easy.

Exemple this guy here says to evolve his turn form he need a pearl? and when i put my mouse on the 'pearl' i don't get more info

edit: That icon on Serebii is a mega stone though for its mega evolution.

I just did the 6th gym. This is fine with me because a lot of my pokemon are traded and with Exp Share I'm beating everything pretty easy.

See I think I hindered myself by not focusing on rounding out my teams instead of "hey an ice gym is 2 gyms away, let me level a few fire pokemans"

Yeah from day 1 of gen 1 I've never prepared proper types for each gym. I just go in with what I like. Probably a mentality I get from starting as Charmander against Brock and Misty's gym.

Typing has never been super important for pokemon Gym battles, only when playing against other players, which is why you can roll the entire Gen 1 with just a nidoking >.>

Mega stone, also need to have been introduced to mega evolution by the fighting gym leader. I think she gives you a Lucario for it to demonstrate? After that it's an option mid-fight to any eligible pokemon holding its specific mega stone. Takes place before (most) attacks and it's a "free" action but can only be done once per team per fight.

Manectite is one of the post-game stones; according to google the only ones you can get before beating E4 are for Abomasnow, Aerodactyl, Ampharos, Gengar, Lucario, and your Kanto starter of choice. The rest in XY (Absol Aggron Alakazam Banette Garchomp Gardevoir Gyarados Heracross Houndoom Kangaskhan Manectric Mawile(!) Medicham MewtwoXY Pinsir Scizor Tyranitar), as well as the Kantos you missed and your opposite version's Charizard mega, are all postgame.

I don't know if the event still runs (literally haven't touched XY since release) but there's also the free Torchic with mega stone from mystery gift?
