Is anyone else finding it curious that a lot of the "cameo" pokemon that are in each generation intended as a reference to previous titles are all aimed at Ash/Red's pokemon?

First Ash's Greninja is mentioned, Charizard was in early sun/moon promotional stuff, and now Snorlax/Gengar Z moves. Maybe im reaching though.

So i activated the Pokemon Bank today and the lady said she would remove items held by my pokemon

Which means it's impossible to have exemple Mega CharizardX and Y in the same game?

You need to manually trade with another player to be able to move items basically. Though it's worth noting I don't think you can GTS or Wonder Trade with a Mega stone equipped but I think you can still regular trade.

So all you'd need to do is set aside some time and get somebody to help you move items, I guess.

Side note, it's insane how many people seem scared that Megas are going to not be a thing anymore in SM. Like at the very worst we're just not going to see any new ones. There's no chance they remove a major feature. People silly. I'm holding out hope that they don't blow their load on news/reveals before release and let at least some things be hidden until at least day 1 (or the unavoidable legit leaks).

In ORAS you can get both Charizardite X and Y

Pretty sure ORAS allow you to get every megastone, but X/Y definitely do not.

The one catch here is that Garchompite in ORAS has some pretty lofty requirements. 1000 Secret Base flags.

It sounds bad, but it's really not. You can get up to ~30-40 per day on your own, and if you have active friends in your base, you'll also get copies of flags they collected that day. It's entirely possible to finish within a week that way, though not very likely. I was personally more annoyed at lucarionite and those stupid contests.
