Raising happiness for the Eeveelutions is incredibly easy, you don't need anything fancy outside of pokemon amie and a soothe bell. It only takes like maybe 15 mins tops with those 2 things to get the affection level high enough.
But you have to be really careful about the evolution conditions. I was trying to create a Sylveon recently, and the condition for it is at least 2 hearts + a fairy type move in its movepool. If it's got the fairy move and the requisite hearts, Sylveon SHOULD be priority over Umbreon/Espeon, yet oddly it became an Umbreon at first. I had to reset and try again - I fixed it by playing with it in Amie some more. I'm not really sure what happened there, it's the first time I got an eeveelution I didn't expect.
Finished OR main game, filled me with feels more than I've felt for the franchise in a long time. I love that the credits remember the Pokemon you used at certain points in the game. This gives me really high hopes for Sun/Moon from more than a gameplay perspective now. Looking forward to Delta episode, once I get a team together that'll be good for catching Rayquaza.
Surprise MVP for me was fucking Exploud. Boomburst wrecks everybody.
I didn't pay any attention to Amie in Y, but I only recently found out about the little perks it has for ingame battles (flavor text, random bonus effects in non-competitive activities, bonus EXP) so it got me invested in it a little bit. I like the little attentions to detail and, y'know, the novelty of feeding cupcakes to basically gods.
Edit Done, thanks seravi !
I don't suppose anyone would have a spare charizardite x and/or a tyranitarte they'd be willing to trade me would they?
Pokeball type is always passed from the non-Ditto parent.
Literally right above you.
The mentality that any shortcuts are fine as long as the final product is within legal limits ignores the fact that spoils in games (perfect Pokemon in this case) are almost always the reward for completing tasks. Exclusivity of a reward is supposed to be the motivator to attain the reward through legitimate channels. The very existence of generated and hacked Mons pretty much ruins it for everyone.
also don't forget about Deoxys during Delta episode, if you're a "Never use master ball" kind of player then bring a ton of balls with you, the cutscene before him is long as fuck, unskipable, and annoying if you need to reload your save due to running out of balls D:
If you are trying to get competitive level Deoxys and Rayquaza, it's best to KO Deoxys and make another run at him at Sky Pillar after the end of Delta. Getting both of them to be competitive level on one run is near impossible levels of luck. You can check Rayquaza's IVs by checking its stats in the battle you have right after and comparing them to how far off an ideal 31 with the nature you want would be.
You can make catching both of them easier by using O-Power Capture right before challenging Rayquaza -- it will persist through all the fights.
Yeah, I already knocked out Groudon the first run at it because I didn't wanna bother with cutscenes while resetting for it. Was gonna do the same for Deoxys. Only need to gear up for Rayquaza because he's content-blocking the Battle Resort.
Amazing Trailer
That Marowak is so fucking epic
That commercial is phenomenal.
Question: does the Pokerus work for super training? What about the macho brace?

I'm pretty sure they work on super training but I honestly cant recall.
I know that when I did it, I just did horde battles in specific zones with the Macho/whatever items and it was like.... 20-60 per fight because of how it double/doubles (they stack) and you can have 5 enemies a horde. (so 1,2 or 3)
Yeah the easiest way to EV train is to use power items (from the Maison) + Pokerus, you get 50 EVs a hoarde. It's harder when you need really precise EV builds, but for simple max speed+attk/s.attk that's the best way.
While it's mostly fluff pokemon, I've managed to get some random goodness out of wonder trades. My first ever trade netted me a Lapras, and I've managed to get a Snivy, Froakie and a flame body Magby (among other stuff) since.
While I want things in my living collection to have one of my OTs, I do GTS as much as able just for more chances at winning the lottery. As silly as that is now. Old habits.
Got my hands on a Protean Froakie so I'm making trash frog babies for trade bait. Yum.
E: on the off chance A.Marowak is Special-based, it does learn Ice Beam and Fire Blast as well as I guess Ancientpower from egg moves. Sadly Earth Power is ORAS move tutor and it doesn't learn Shadow Ball, unless it's TM move pool changes in A.form.
I've gotten a Froakie, two Charmanders, Cyndaquil, and a speed boost Torchic from Wonder Trade. Along with a level 47 Ninetales and 50 Bisharp that both have good natures and moves so I can't figure out why people got rid of them.
