Rooney, I should be able to get on the WiFi at work again today if you're around any time. Just give me a heads up.

So wait though. How does he get to Steven with an otherwise empty party?
He went through the E4 using a Rayquaza then traded it for the Ratata so that it would be at Level 1 at the start of the battle with Steven.
That's clever. I honestly didn't realize you could trade stuff in your party in this gen.
Almost at 500 registered Pokemon, doing some rapid-fire evolutions using Blisseys now. Really lacking Moon Stones though, is there any way to get them in ORAS or X?
In ORAS you can get them from Secret Base friends.
I've been stacking my base with stone-finders but so far no Moon Stones. Only at 200-something flags, too. Going to be awhile before I can get up to 2 skills a day.
For stones you could also game sync to the global link whatever website. Uses your pokemiles you amass from the game which you can earn a shitload of by wonder trading if you don't already have a lot. I have a dozen or so of almost every stone from trying to earn Razor Claws and Upgrades and such. You want the balloon pop mini game. There's no skill it's all random so just kind of do it on the side if you're ever click-bored.
Do note that this service will end sometime this month in preparation of SM. So act fast. Otherwise it's just secret base buddies. XY has some basic stones buys le though but I don't think Moon is among them.
You might be able to soft reset your secret base buddies also. Which is nice if they insist on giving you 5 everstones.
Hadn't thought about SRing them, that's a good call.

I tried SRing the secret base friends. I think their output must be on an algorithm tied to your trainer ID or something because I got the same exact items from the same exact friends when I tried it.
Ah, bummer. I assumed it might work like Mirage/Buzznav where you can retry.
In that case I advise the PGL/gamesync web games. Just take like 20 minutes and spamclick.
e: the amount of cockteases for 6iv breeds is maddening even with 2 5ev parents. I see why breedjects are a thing. I have a box and a half each of 3 and 4iv, and half a box of 5ivs (Elekids and Fletchlings). I know for personal use 5 is fine, but I just want 6 for healthy males crossbreeding. And then I'm still gonna have to breed a 6male Fletchling with a 4female with Gale Wings because I figured it's better to get a 6iv sooner into the picture and reintroduce Gale Wings at that point rather than hope I can get another 5iv female with it right now.
Well, people tend to be happy enough with 5 (even in competition) because usually you're going to have a mon that is focused completely on Special Attack, or one that is focused on Physical Attack, but not both. Obviously there are exceptions, but there's not a lot of point to having a 6 IV pokemon that isn't ever even going to use its dump stat. If you're doing for example a Gale Wings Fletchling with focus on physical attack moves, no real reason to make sure it has a SpA IV. Reason being there just aren't enough EVs to go around to split between the two types of attack.
Personally I'm always happy if I manage to accidentally breed a 6IV pokemon but I've never actually needed a 6IV one for anything.
I like having surprise Overheat / Draco Meteor / etc type moves sometimes so I did actually want a 6IV (Naughty) Fletch in this case anyways. And some of the 5s I get probably have a decent enough SpA even if it's not maxed. But I also just wanted a 6IV because I hadn't yet bred for one before and I feel like getting a 6 now will cut down my overall breeding time later even if I only need 5s. Though that might be faulty logic. Definitely is actually.
So I bit the bullet and started moving things over from HG and White. Still have to look at Platinum, but I never beat Platinum so I can go catch myself spares of a lot of good ones there, like the Time/Space trio and the birds and then bring them over. Anyway, it wasn't as painful as I had thought it would be save for that my Manaphy won't transfer.
It knew Acid Armor, Whirlpool, Water Pulse, and Heart Swap at level 50. Manaphy learns Heart Swap normally at 76 (this was an event Pokemon) so I figured that was the problem and deleted it (reasoning that I could relearn it later). But it still says it knows a hidden move. Acid Armor, Whirlpool, and Water Pulse are all pre-50 for Manaphy and exist in Gen V and VI. Any ideas on what I should do here?
