Hearing Leech Life is 80 BP.
Hearing Leech Life is 80 BP.
Decidueye bases 78/107/75/100/100/70. Specially defensive mixed attacker. Hidden ability Long Reach - user's contact moves do not make contact.
Incineroar bases 95/115/90/80/90/60. Physical, slow. HA Intimidate
Primarina bases 80/74/74/126/116/60. Special, slow. HA Liquid Sound - user's sound moves become water type.
Spirit Shackle is 80 BP Ghost Phys
Darkest Lariat is 85 BP Dark Phys, also gets Throat Chop 80 BP Dark Phys (prevents foe from using sound moves for 2 turns)
Sparkling Aria is 90 BP Water Spec
Decidueye's movepool standouts include Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Baton Pass, Synthesis/Roost, Leaf Blade, Brave Bird, U-turn, Sucker Punch, Low Sweep. Special movepool is sparse with only Shadow Ball, Energy Ball/Grass Knot, and that's it. Oh and Defog.
Incineroar standouts include Fake Out, Bulk Up, Flare Blitz, Outrage, Cross Chop, Earthquake, Leech Life (80BP), U-turn.
Primarina has Hyper Voice, Moonblast, Energy Ball, Shadow Ball, Psychic, Encore, and obligatory water options and Ice Beam.
Some unconfirmed info also includes:
Dark Void nerfed to 50% acc and Darkrai-only.
Swagger nerfed to 85% accuracy.
TM28 is now Leech Life (was Dig).
TM59 is now Brutal Swing, a 60 BP Dark Physical move which seems to hit everyone. (used to be Incinerate)
Sucker Punch was knocked down to 70 BP.
From this guy's Twitter:
"New redirection move Spotlight causes attacks to focus on the target. Appears to be Battle Royale-focused, haven't fully tested."
"There's more to Z-Moves than just single-target nukes. i.e.
Z-Splash grants +3 Attack
Z-Destiny Bond redirects all attacks to the user
Every status move not named Nature Power, Metronome, or Assist has an additional side effect when used as a Z-Move.
Z-Hidden Power always transforms into the Normal-type Breakneck Blitz no matter what type it is
Confirm "couldn't fully protect itself" means damaging Z-Moves bypass Protect but deal reduced damage (roughly 25% of original)."
Alolan Dugtrio is Ground/Steel.
Wimpod's evolution, Golisopod, remains Bug/Water.
Lunala's bases seem similar to Xerneas/Yveltal.
Also from TCG previews, we kind of know that Solgaleo and Lunala...
Spoiler: show
If Decuideye can learn Curse...game over. If not, still a good competitive moveset with Defog, Synthesis/Roost and Brave Bird. Intimidate and Liquid Sound could be potent too.
I wonder if Long Reach performs similar to Scrappy, or simply does what it says and prevents abilities like Static from taking effect.
So the Dark Void change means no more Smeargle?
I always roll fire, and was finally thinking I'll change and go grass for the first time.
Now I'm thinking fire again. FML.
As far as long reach goes, what are considered contact moves? Would that include anything that isn't a ranged attack?
Edit- found a list, so by having these moves not make contact what does that even mean? Like, would they bypass certain immunities or something?
You'll mainly be able to avoid abilities like static, effect spore, etc. Though you'll also be able to avoid stuff like rocky helmet.
Actually on second look the cat has decent bulk and intimidate. Just not the best defensive typing.
Decidueye does get Curse, but is Ghost Curse good for it?
This guy putting out lots of datamine vids. I haven't watched it all and am at work
So far though, lots of slooooow mons. Vikavolt has goddamn 140ish spatk but like 43 speed.
Day Lycanroc is really fast and strong but glass cannon and kind of shallow move pool. Nightrock looks meh.
School Wishiwashi could be really scary with enough speed support or Trick Room but it's HP and Speed are really awful. Gets u turn and earthquake.
It's a self -50% Max HP that causes the target pokemon to lose 25% max HP per turn until faint or switch out.
Kinda loses the appeal on Ghost types, but there may be some use for it with it also having Synthesis/Roost.
I was hoping for a really bulky Brave Bird/Curse build.
Depending on which moves Decidueye can learn via tutor tm's etc he might make a decent staller, especially with that leech seed buff, like, leech seed, roost, substitute, spirit shackle maybe? It's definately something to look into
Game is available for those who have CFW
I grabbed the install from Freeshop, was waiting for it's release. Still looking for a source that won't give me AIDs.
Bah... still just under 200 Pokémon to go for me before I've got a full Dex on OR.
