So, the restaurants at Konikoni City, Malie City, and Seafolk Village all have a once-a-day thing where if you buy the last (think this is typically the one you never are able to finish by yourself) meal, a NPC will pay your meal for you. These give heart scales (4, 8, 2 respectively) that you'd otherwise be paying for.

Should I wait for stockpile and swallow before evolving munchlax?

Stockpile is generally only useful for the actual defense boost aspect, and Munch/Snorlax have the better option of Curse (with breeding) anyways. The combo moves with Stockpile are rather slow and clunky for ingame and competitive alike. I'd say nothing in Munchlax's list is worth delaying for unless you like Munchlax. I used one with Eviolite for a while in BW way back though.

Yeah that's why I am thinking (hoping) the second half of Gen VII will permit Gen VI Pokemon, otherwise a bunch of mons that were finally legally obtainable in Gen VI through the 20th Anniversary will still be locked out of official use.

Catching UBs is surprisingly challenging given their high level, base power, and Beast Boost. Not necessarily challenging in "get in the ball" sense, but surviving long enough to weaken them. At least, if you're like me and too lazy to level new mons for the sole purpose of helping catch these guys.

First off, I guess the ones you can catch 4 of (Kartana and Pheromosa) have a catch rate of 255 meaning you can probably just catch it outright in a Beast Ball from the start of the encounter.

So far only Decidueye from my ingame team can take any amount of hits, with Ribombee as a Stun Spore helper. So I had to work around those limitations. Luckily Decidueye gets False Swipe.

Nihilego: Opened with Stun Spore, switched to a wild l54 Primeape I had with Screech. Used 2-3 times, don't mind if it gets KO's since it'll only boost Nihilego's SDef. Decidueye False Swipes as desired. Not too hard.

Buzzwole: Opened with Mimikyu, use Charm once, switch to Ribombee (Stun Spore), Pollen Puff twice to help weaken, start catching. Can optionally switch to Primeape for Screech but mine generally died to Hammer Arm and then Beast Boost raised Defense. Decidueye takes hits well, again.

Xurkitree: Since it's immune to Paralyze, I opted for a Sturdy Roggenrola with 1 Sand Attack to open, switch to Decidueye with Brightpowder, use 2-3 XSpecDefence, start Swords Dancing for False Swipe.

All I've gotten to so far, probably holding off on Guzzlord since idk what to do with it. Having max affection also helps for dodge strats since you have the random affection dodge chance as well.

Tapu's made this easy for me since their Z move takes 75% health.

Is there ever an upgrade to the Storage Boxes or am I stuck with only 8? I haven't finished the story yet in case that's when it happens.

Yeah, I just use my liligant honestly lol. It was a fun little side quest though, i saved the Beastballs largely since they were easy to catch, just wish they werent lower than a pokeball on % for regular pokemon, i'd slap my main team into them when i actually go out to catch/breed.

In case anyone else is curious about this question, I think boxes actually show up when you start filling up boxes. You'll just get more as you get closer to filling up the boxes you have. You may be able to force boxes to show up by filling up the last box you have available, but I can't remember for sure.

Yep to get all the boxes just put 1 pokemon in each box, log out of PC, log back on and your new boxes will be there. Repeat as necessary for as many boxes as it goes up to.

Didn't realize it was that simple. I thought I had got the upgrade because I caught a certain amount of Pokemon. Didn't even realize I had put at least 1 Pokemon in every box. Got more boxes thanks to the above though, so thanks!

I think it goes up to 30 boxes, although now that there will be over 800 Pokémon my hope is they expand that.
