Multiplayer doesn't feature female fighters because the core demographic is young males. Single player does have a female fighter, though.

the Russians used female infantry battalions when the war started going very poorly for them. everyone else used them in supporting roles, clerking-nursing-espionage, but no one else used them in direct combat roles though as with most wars a handful of dames Mulan'd it and fought anyways

anyways game looks p great. moving away from ever sleeker and faster postmodern warfare to a more deliberate and weighty gameplay/aesthetic is sounding more and more like a great design choice.

I love the look of it. BF5 would have been BF4 in a new skin, which was in turn, BF3 in a new skin. I'm happy for something new, as long as it isn't terrible like Hardline was.
