I thought Power of Friendship refers to beating the villains by making them see the error of their ways and befriending the hero? That has never happened in Hero Academia.

I guess I see it differently. I had always seen it more as the main character facing someone and their positive thoughts, feelings, emotions, or worldly view ends up changing the views of their opponent. This even eventually leads both parties to becoming friends or having some kind of companionship where they both understand each other on a deeper level.

Yeah Naruto is definitely guilty of that (Gaara, Nagato, Sasuke) but the only thing that comes close to that in BNHA is Deku convincing Todoroki to embrace his father's power.

And even that's been great because of Todoroki going and reconciling with his mom and now this current arc with his dad as the new #1 and trying to redeem himself with his family and live up to the ranking.

Yeah I agree with this. I think we're just differing on what we see as a opponent. Naruto did this to all the main villains, Zabuza, Gaara, Obito, Pain, Sasuke. Midoriya has only done this to classmates. The villains are still evil as fuck.

So apparently Funimation is delaying episode 50 dub till 7/7. But episode 50 is up on CR right now as usual. Sucks for me since I liked watching the dub so now either wait it out or watch the subs for the first time...

Theres another 100 manga chapters. No way in hell the anime even comes close this season.

The Hero license arc only has 24 chapters. But the internship/saving Eri arc has 40 chapters. I can definitely see them getting through the license arc but I don't see them finishing up the internship stuff. Plus, given how good that arc is and how awesome the ending is too, I'd hate for them to stop half-way +_+

I feel like this anime does an incredible job with their placement and tone of the music. Better than any other anime I've seen recently. Something about it strikes an emotional chord with me like everytime.
