1/1 on all including Adel, magic breakdown, full break, shellga, and SG made ultima hit 1.5k each, so brute forced her, Cid's Hyper jump with the buff on and boostga did same dmg as black materia, so it acted like my second SSB.

Setup (had Sazh's boon as RW).

Ok ultimate down, had to s/l twice because s/he would one shot someone before I could put up mitigation, then easy cakes.

RW was Oerba's Boon. Just wanted AOE heal.

I accidentally gave myself a handicap. When I was cleaning out SBs so theres only 1 per person, I left Blade Beam on Cloud instead of Fenrir Overdrive

Relatively easy Ultimate. Ultima does still hit very hard tho. 1500ish with Shell, Magic Bdown, SG and possibly Full Break up. If you find yourself struggling to mitigate damage you can try the stunlock strategy I found on Reddit.

Basically keep her stunned when she's preparing for Ultima and she'll just keep trying to ready it - it's the best of both worlds. Damage and mitigation. So if you've got a few Dismissals just spam that. Or if you're like me and have Air Strike, set up Zack for SB spam (I used Mako might and spammed Lifesiphon until Adel went into Ultima phase). She only managed to get 1 Ultima off

That sounds around my numbers... but I didn't hava lot of synergy armor, I just geared up with the best I could (Minotaur Plate, Ten Gallon Hat, and Galbadian Bracer were the only 3 synergy armors I had for the realm).

near the end it gets messy. I swear I can take her from 100% to 40% with 1 SG charge, and from 40% to 0 feels like it just wears off as soon as I put it on...

I won, was great until about 15% when my Planet Protector wore off and things slow'd down just enough for damage to get too messy... won with Seipher as the only standing party member and he was about 1 second from death. idc, a win is a win... and yay a HP+700 Accessory...?

Was my first Ultimate Win so hey, I'm happy.

Dude, look at your armor, it's all native 5* or better FF8 pieces of armor except one 4*++; of course it isn't going to do those numbers to you.

1/1, Boon RW. I'd have made it without losing any medals at all but she got off a single Ultima at like 5% with SG down. The rest of the fight she just cast fire which did a whole 300ish damage. Hurray for RNG!

Took a few tries due a comedy of errors, but very easy ultimate. First attempt I thought I selected wall, had fenrir as my RW and Sazh didn't have magic breakdown, so i retreated and then accidentally went right back in, so 120 stam wasted right there. Once I was set properly took 3 SL's due to me getting lazy on timing of mitigation. I probably could have done better bringing Sephiroth instead of Yuffie as Dismissal only proc'd I think twice on my win.
