It's a good thing premade parties get ranked rewards.

What are you telling to convey here
they're boostin
Or maybe losing 86 matches means they are real. That one picture isn't proof of anything unless I'm missing something
i understand that but i don't think that means anything conclusive. nor does them being in the same FC. if you could still change languages to get isolated queues then it is suspicious. otherwise there's no proof anything untoward is going on.
..... there's nothing suspicious about playing only the same team 260 times in 4 days
Haha just our luck, we'd meet our fellow Free Company members in The Pit for the two hundred fiftieth time! Well chaps, give it your all, and may the best man win!
maybe you can elaborate on the exact methods they used to play each other and only each other then
Um, are you saying that if we can't figure how they colluded, that means that collusion must not have taken place?
It seems clear that they have played each other (and only each other) nearly 250 times. Surely you are not claiming this is coincidence.
>hey jimbo-san did your queue pop?
>
that is not what i am saying. others are saying that them playing each other the exact number of times is evidence of collusion. but it's not necessarily so.
on saturday i played something like 40 games and got the same people from my same server 95% of the time. the same thing happened in preseason. and the less popular PVP is on a DC the easier it is to match up with the same people whether you want to or not. absolutely it seems more than coincidental, but you can't really rule it out either because SE has eliminated language queue selections and barring some type of exploit, there isn't a way to pick your opponents.
i mean yeah at first glance it might seem fishy but at the end of the day it wasn't 50/50 wins and losses for each side, nor was it 100% to 0 either. the screenshot posed doesn't provide evidence of a single thing, whether it's suspicious or not.
don't get me wrong, guys. i'm not trying to be a contrarian or even play devil's advocate here or some stupid shit like that. but in a competitive community (no matter what you think of ffxiv pvp) proof is proof in hand, not a snapshot of a win/loss rate that's not even out of line. the good thing is whether any of us are right or wrong, SE will more than likely check it out and see if anything silly is going on and stomp it out.
SE won't do shit. Here's how it will play out (the same way it played out in 2.1 Wolves Den when people were up in arms about win trading back when leveling was painful as fuck):
>OF thread goes up about people win trading, thus reaping the seasonal group awards
>Community rep "Oh wow we don't condone that, if you see it please report it guys!"
>Nothing happens and they get their rewards.
They won't touch people who are blatantly speed hacking in 4v4. They won't do shit about this either. They only discipline RMT and blatant chat based harassment. Otherwise it's a loss of subs.
zzz can't read apparently? or just purposely ignore the part where i mentioned it's pretty easy to match up unintentionally with the same group if pvp's not that popular?
how about this, back in preseason, the weekend before everything went live i played literally the same fucking people all in one afternoon of feast. is that clear enough for you?
they were pretty quick to jump on the game throwers, which is a good sign. at the same time SE's history leaves a lot to be desired and that's an understatement. i could see them going either way when it comes to making sure the mode is legitimate. in the event that these guys really are win trading i could also see them thinking it's too isolated to do anything about. or not giving a shit about. who knows, all a gamble.
all the guys who were even semi half-assing it in my games all but disappeared after being threatened with bans, so i'd say whatever they did worked. as i mentioned before i don't have a lot of faith in SE to do anything right but they seem to care more this time around than before, which is the point.
