As I've mentioned before, I almost always choose DRG over SMN. Before complicating shit with buffs(although I imagine it goes heavily in DRG's favor), you're looking at like 1500 potency vs 1450 potency + two stuns + two gap closers

SMN's nice, particularly the ranged aspect, but it's really nothing special

Its a trade off though, I tried out a set the week before feast, with full vit acc and spec and food, near 1500hp but man the damage was loooow, albeit I still mostly focused thunder and scathe since it was in a seal rock with interrupts still.

Gotta micro your fairy for it to be worthwhile. My standard tactic (after FI+WD) is to have fairy spam Embrace on my focus target (usually me).

Funnily enough, I had a match where my WAR tank had 9 stacks of Heavy Metal and they were just chasing him around our spawn while ignoring me; I sat there spamming my Physick+Embrace macro for at least a solid minute and we ended up running out the clock for a win.

have you ever tried an embrace spam macro?

Yes. Mine is something like 14 lines of Embrace spam with <wait.2> per line, which gives me about 8-10 or so Embraces. It's basically good enough to keep the fairy queueing heals when the target is not low enough to hit the normal Embrace threshold.
