So if true you can expect this movie to just be a trailer for new female Indians jones TV show

Apparently this had really bad test screenings or so I’ve read so yah, y’all let me know if you like it cause I’m passing until I read otherwise lol. I hope its good though, I could use another good Indiana Jones movie in my life.

The entire franchise is now on Disney+ leading up to the final film release. Including the Young Indiana Jones series, which I suppose means it’s now officially canon.

I just got back from seeing it a little while ago. My family wanted to see the early Thursday night showing.

Spoiler free initial thoughts:

I enjoyed it.

I'm sure people are probably going to hate it but I thought it was pretty good. I won't compare it to any of the other movies but I felt like it did capture a little bit of the magic of the originals. (It is waaaaay better than Crystal Skull imo) It takes real history and a mysterious ancient object and mixes in some fiction for flavor to make for a entertaining story that evokes a sense of wonder. If you see it this weekend or catch a cheaper matinee two weeks from now is up to you. I recommend you give it a try though.

Yes, it is much better than Crystal Skull. Still, it’s still in 4th place for the franchise. A couple fun Easter eggs and typical grumpy Harrison Ford humor.

I can’t believe the mad lads did this though

Killed off Shia LeBouf’s “Mutt” character off screen and got one or two lines to explain it. It was a pretty poignant scene though from Harrison Ford.
