Hummm, so not sure what I should do. Can't get enough damage done to anyone. Also, issues because I can't properly blind Omni in a timely manner.

Using

Yuna ( heal + slow )
Zidane ( thief raid + siphon )
Cloud ( that AoE blade thing + siphon )
Auron ( that AoE blind blade thing + launch )
Tyro ( Full Break + Magic Break ) <--- this one was actually mistake

I usually can't even blind Omni and am just R/L until I do by the 2nd run. Either way, I just siphon like mad while waiting for it to blind then try to do as much single target damage to the mage. Unfortunately, stuff pretty much starts wearing and draw fire gets recast when she's at like 15% hp and I pretty much lose.

Would anyone want One Winged Angel for RW for AoE blind?

I'm actually wondering if AoE blind be better than Scream. I was using Zidane mostly because I had one of his weapons but not sure if using Sazh for hastega would be better. I can phase out Auron for Sabin which I have his AoE damage buff as well.

Or should I still use scream and go

Finally killed that fucker. Only lost one medal. So nothing but elites till bonus battles for fft hits.

Finally beat / mastered it. >.> funny enough, no medals lost. Was easier once I honed up blind shot and noticed that Rikku could use it.

Yeah don't rely on those Samurai skills like ever. They have a 20% chance to inflict the status ailment compared to 80% of Blindga. While the added damage is nice you need to bring a reliable source if you're after the status effect part.

might have to reset ultimate forgot to egg Agrias and Ramza, they get rekted as soon as buff drops lol

edit did it after 3 s/l was expecting to expert, since Ramza and Agrias got 1 shoted by concecutive blast near the end but lost 2 medals only, 1 for dmg taken 1 for character KO

Then you get stupidly lucky attempts like mine. Sephiroth started the fight at full ATB and his opening Yukikaze blinded all 3 of them on my first attempt at the fight. That made the whole fight a joke as I didn't have to deal with Draw Fire until after Leblanc died and Russian Roulette never landed on anyone.

I did this too, they stayed blind the whole time. I can put it up as well if needed

Honestly, I found this fight immensely easier if I could get Leblanc down before the second draw fire. Basically if first blind missed, I just S/L'd. I hated bringing a mage as it was only about 4500 damage per spell unless blood of the espers proc'd vs Tidus doing 7-9 k per dismissal.

Yeah Wakka's SSB is 100% and is what made my run A LOT easier .

I've been pretty slack on leveling my guys so my X team is 2x65 + 3x55, and just the ++ for the crystal was a bitch... And it took like 5 resets just to get a RW with some kind of shell.

Runing Ramza and Agrias through round 1 of their level 99 event trying to level them up for this fight, but don't know if stamina will allow me having both at 65 without using eggs. Might just have to go ahead and do the Ultimate with either a gimped Shout or use a RW one.

took me about 4-5 fights with solo ramza to learn shout same with agrias, then i just egged them

Highly doubt they need to be 65 anyway considering you're getting 10 levels from RS and presumably you have pretty bitching FFT synergy. Until Orbfest, I rarely ever took anyone into anything level capped and they didn't have the advantage of 10 RS levels either

Oh right, silly me not reading the thread title. Just egg them to 55-60 ish, should be fine.

Really the crunchpoint of that fight isn't anything Ramza/Agrias offer, it's sticking blind.

Had to waste 60 stamina because the first time I went in without any blind besides Wakka's Auroch Reels because I didn't read up on the Draw Fire mechanics lolol

Easy after though because synergy out the wazoo.
