    Watched up to episode 2 last night, and the best part about Pidge finding her dad is that she'll hopefully stop acting recklessly whenever a family member comes up -- that was getting real old.

    I really enjoyed the episodes, shaping up to be a really good season. I am a bit surprised at the pace of the main storyline, I didn't expect things to move as fast as they did.

    Netflix's Voltron: Legendary Defender-Studio Mir/Avatar/Korra Team.

    This season by far had the greatest episode in the entire franchise!

    EDIT: Okay this release format has to fucking change. Six episodes every few months or so is annoying as hell. It's so weird, the pacing seems to be going places yet we've learned next to nothing that we didn't already know....

    My theory on Shiro:

    The one who came back is a clone Lotor created as part of his plot to take his father's throne. He's been programmed to support Lotor with the other paladins. I suspected he was a clone since the fight with Zarkon, but the scene where he yelled at Lance about taking Lotor to the ceremony confirmed it for me.

    I'd have to watch the scenes again, but I'm not convinced Haggar's ability to spy on the group has anything to do with Shiro. Also, if he's not being controlled by Lotor, why did he flip out about not taking Lotor to fight for the throne?

    I've long suspected this is not the original Shiro, the voltron mind space scene where they purposely showed a shadowy figure instead of Shiro himself talking to Lance sealed it for me. But I don't think it has anything to do with Lotor. All the cryptic "activate operation such and such" emanate from Haggar. Lotor has flat-outed refused to even acknowledge Haggar as Honerva so he's definitely not working with/for her either. And I doubt Haggar is working in the interest of Lotor either, she seemingly regained her memories of her son yet still won't support him. So my only question is what does Haggar have in mind for Shiro?

    I could have sworn the end of the last episode more or less confirmed she's viewing them through his eyes.

    And yeah, I thought it was really weird that Haggar learned he's her son, freaked out about it, and then seemed to not care..
