I'm currently at Rank 45, but my weapon pool is still somewhat lacking; I've got a few Magna SSR weapons, but not a tremendous amount. I can do the GW fights, but only barely (leech a hit, get shit-for-honors, etc.). Correct me if I'm wrong, but would it not be in my best interest to just, for the most part, forgo this event and keep spending my EP/BP on appropriate element magna/omega fights instead to build up my weapon pool, and then return to GW the next time it comes around when I can better contribute to the fights and get more out of them, even if I don't MVP?

I'm rank 39, and on DF, I can MVP my own Extreme Allasaur, but I do need Grand Order to do it. If you have Wind characters, they really wreck this thing, so that's also an option. If you can use delays, and time them properly, you can last a log longer.

Finally found a guide and linked my guest account on my Android to a Mobage account, so was able to both change my name and FINALLY can play on Chrome, it is so god damn better and faster then playing on mobile!

Started an extreme and barely dented it, then someone who is 1 rank higher then me starts soloing it with ease, so how is it that someone who is 1 rank higher then me has so much ease soloing the extremes then I do? Is it simply because I don't have any SSR characters or a full grid of Magna SSR weapons? Very confused at the extreme difference in power or if i'm simply not grinding hard enough, all my weapons and summons are max leveled too.

Skilled up magna attack weapons are huge boost, especially if you have a bunch and are using the right summon.

Using the JP damage calculator I have around 320k attack not counting buffs, debuffs etc. If I put all my skills at lv1 instead of lv10 it drops to 190k~.

how'd the BG guild do for guild wars? my guild was like, 8300th place lol. but since we all just started I figure that's fair. IDK if we'll ever get serious enough to place, but I have an Athena I want to uncap so I hope so.

What I had to do was be consistent with doing Angel Halo + Dungeon, every day, and resetting AP/EP to run it even more, every day. This let me level all of my SSR weapons I got from when I started, as well as level up my summons and some SR drops I had from various events. When I hit rank 40, that let me hit minimum rank for all of my SSR weapons, and boosted me up to 25K base damage. Leveling up Dark Fencer also gave me a lot of power as well. I would focus on doing that while you leech your Omega raids, and farm your Very Hard raids, and hope you get lucky on SSR weapon drops. Eventually (maybe months) you'll have a good weapon pool, from your Omega farming, and will be able to solo the Omega level raids. I'm still waiting on my first SSR weapon drop, but I don have a 2* Omega summon as that thing has dropped a few times.

Already have them all leveled and already have DF, think my best bet is just spam farm omegas and pray I get lucky as well as find a way to farm skill upgrade mats to work toward maxing out my skills on my weapons.

Just use SR weapons that don't have attack skills as fodder. Devil Elements(purple things) aren't really used that much. All the SR wind guns and light staves that GW gacha has are fodder

First opponent ranked 291 in qualifiers but didn't even put up a fight. Next guild only has a handful of people above rank 90. A lot easier than last GW so far

When GW started, I was getting decent honor on Extreme, but now everyone only wants to do Extreme+, and that one pretty much wrecks me. I was getting about 150K a fight, but now I'm down to about 40K or less, and I can't solo weaker versions.

Since nobody else seems to care about the GW strike times, can we change them to 3pm and 9pm PST for now? 3pm is when GW starts up again every day, and moving the second one back to 9pm will give time for AP to regen in between (for min-maxers).

If people don't like the times, we can change them again when GW is over. As it is, we're basically wasting one of the strike times everyday.

Is GW the best time to use soul berries then? I'm beginning to pile a lot up and want to make good use of them.

Unless you're actually trying to win then no. Use them on magnafests (2BP magna raids)
