Is there any reason to hold onto this growing mountain of Rare weapons and summons that I've been collecting? I think I saw something about needing them for the guild war characters or something, but that's going to be quite aways away for me. But can't they be farmed again? Anyone need the low tier coop quests done and want to team up? I tried doing some with a failed reroll alt and it went slowly.

You'll need some to hold on for leveling up your weapon skills, so it's a good idea to buy one weapon stash. For summons, unless they are SSR, or Carbuncles, they usually aren't worth holding on to except for certain rare ones you can farm, like an SR rabbit and mushroom girl; the rest you can feed to level your main summons.

There are some rare weapons, dropped from rare monsters, that are used in the GW weapons, as well as the rusted ones, from Angel Halo.

What kind of message do people put in their public co-op room messages so that people (whether they're English or JP) know that the room is for progression/unlocking higher stages, rather than just farming a specific one over and over?

Only R weapons from rare monsters are needed for GW characters.

Icons are kinda blurry but it's usually easy to tell if you have it. Any other R I just vendor or feed to guild ship

Picked up Cybele summon and Goblin Mage, with my last 3k crystals. Not particularly helpful, but GM looks interesting. Still, I never got a true wind attacker, so I'm a bit bummed, and in 1.5k tickets, I didn't pull any GW swords. I've another 400ish to go, but not likely to pull it. I guess these things are either extreme luck or you need to already be stupid powerful to farm the full 25 million; topped out at 5 million this round.

Managed to get the 4th harp at the last minute. Not bad for my first GW considering my attention was being pulled in multiple directions at once trying to get caught up.

So, for Wind characters, with Petra, Arriet, Goblin Mage, and Hazen, should I focus on leveling Hazen or GM?

As I recall, you can't host Proto-Bahamut until Rank 80, but you can start leeching him at Rank 50; is that correct?

If so, where do I normally go to leech him? Is it the "Raids" section just like all the other Magnas and I just simply haven't seen any pop up yet? I know about Twitter/Tweetdeck entries, but I was just curious where they'd naturally appear on their own if possible.
Additionally, while it's still 30 ranks away, where is Proto-Bahamut normally hosted from on the World Map?

Yes you can leech it at rank 50. You host it from the same island as magnas. You'll rarely ever see one on in the shitty in-game raid list and ones on tweetdeck will fill up in about 20 seconds. Have fun.

I figured it was probably the same island as the Magnas, but I was a little confused since it's not listed there that I can see and yet the Grand Order fight is listed there (even though I can't host that one until Rank 80 either). Is it also locked behind the story, by chance? Currently on Ch.46 which currently has me back on this island.
