Well that just sounds dandy
Well that just sounds dandy
^ Dark Fencer's def/atk debuff just makes everything a million times easier, which at low levels translates to feasible. You can toss it onto other jobs later as a subskill.
Alright. Working on Arcana dueler now so should have it eventually after grinding this 150% boss quest from sakura wars event and do you guys have a crew? my Id is 11377394 if anyone can add as a friend etc
Saw this over on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Granblue_en...your_set_of_6/
It's a set of 6 MLB carbuncles, for about $3 USD. I was interested in this, but I'm not particluarly keen on Paypal as a payment option; any other forms of payments for us gaijins?
I also recommend Thief/Raider/Hawkeye for the drop rate increase skills though I know CP is hard to come by at the start. If you can at least get up to Raider I think that'll help you farm for the event. And there is a BlueGartr crew. You can add me if you want but my summons aren't that special. ID 10810582
Looking for a little advice on the next stage of game-play. I'm wondering when it's a good idea to swap over to an all wind team, vs. a hybrid wind/Grande team; either way, I have to give up Kaguya, who's been a big help in surviving content and gaining extra time to do more damage that I'd hopefully gain from a more focused team.
Here's what I have: all weapons are skill level one so far.
MLB Anat
3 MLB SR Tiamat Sword
2 MLB SR Tiamat Axe
1 MLB SR Tiamat Gun
1 SSR Tiamat Fist (1*) - could make it a two star as I have an extra atm.
Flornberk (+event point dagger)
Heavens Cloud (+ big wind damage)
Characters:
L70 Petra and Arietta; L60 Sakura, Hazen, and Minigoblin, the later of which I can 4* at any time.
The other option would be to use the following team, as a hybrid Anat + Grande team:
L80 Namaya, Petra, and Metera or Jeanne, but I'm not sure which is the better team and who I would 4* in that situation; Jeanne ups over-all damage but Metera has burst damage and slow. I only have enough merits to do two more characters, and I"m not sure when I'll get more. Namaya is such a beast so I already 4*'d her, which is why I think a hybrid team can still work and maybe better then a pure wind team due to a lack of a second attacker in it and how much Metera or Jeanne bring to the table.
So, here's the questions:
Should I make the swap to an all wind team or try a hybrid?
If a hybrid would be better, who, if any, should I 4* for now?
Does anyone know if Famitsu accepts normal credit cards as payment? I was really interested in the carbuncles, but I'm just not sold on Paypal usage to do so.
No idea on wind/hybrid usefulness. Personally, I'd just make two separate teams and try them both out. See what works and what doesn't. You have 6 party slots to start with after all. My Fire team should be significantly stronger than my Light team, but Lucifer supports are just so insanely OP that my Light team (70 Jeanne, 70 Erica Fontaine, 50 R-Feather) can blitz through content even faster than my Fire team (80 Magisa, 80 Yuel, 85 Teena, 70 Gemini Sunrise, 70 Karin). I blame the back to back events with SSR Light summon/weapon rewards.
Re: Carbuncles, the only payment options I saw listed when I used that site were Paypal and Webmoney.
Cant sleep so just logged in for first time in 1.5 months. What should I know tldr-wise about events and pulls and changes?
Also poker bot?
Not much has changed. The event ends in 24 hours and it has the first light unknown available since last July so you should try to get all the copies you can before it goes away.

I tried the two party setups, and there's no doubt about it; a hybrid team, focusing on wind, flat out dominates the straight wind team I can currently build.
The wind team, described exactly in my last post, netted me 10K auto attacks on all members, and I had 2x MLB Anats as my summon/friend.
The hybrid team, with Jeanne, Petra, and Nayama, using MLB Anat and a regular Grande, netted me 30K wind auto attacks, and 10K auto attacks from off-spec; Namaya's echos were almost 30K. Her overdrive assassin hits were doing 70K, and I hadn't even used Petra's buff; only Jeanne's armor break and rage buffs.
It's way too strong for normal farming of Hard raids, but I know what I'll be trying out when I move onto Mangas and this upcoming Guild Wars event.
I'll have to give PayPal another try, if those are the only two options. I don't really want to link banks/credit cards, but if I can remove them after a purchase, I'd feel better about it.
Seems to help Narmaya's echo; in a solo Leviathan fight I played around in, they went from 15K, to 19K, on the turn I used Petra's buff. The next round, they were back down to 15K, so I'm not sure what else might have caused the damage increase, given everything else seemed to stay the same. Given the party setup, Arriet might be more useful. I think if I want burst damage, during Strike mode, then Metera, Petra, and Nara is the better party, and for consistent damage, Jeanne, Arriet, and Nara are the better party, but again, not exactly sure.
What play style is the BG guild as because shifting through 300+ pages doesn't make sense why there is no real search button.
Play style like casual/hardcore/etc?
Probably closer to casual I'd think? I play mostly on weekends or after work, and the game is largely solo play early on so I don't interact much with others in-game. We keep level 1 buffs up and toss rupies in the bank for better upgrades when we can, but since so many of us started recently I'd imagine a lot of our money goes towards limit breaks and things.
Oh, just go to one of our friend profiles and it'll be linked on there. I have you on my friend list (VladWard), so you can access it through my profile.
tales collab rerun. GBF is saved
So Guild Wars starts up again in about an hour and I'm having trouble deciding between beginning on either Sarasa or Octo for my Earth team; both seem good in their own way.
