Wait, could I have been using steel bricks to level up the SR Tiamat/Omega weapons? They are cheap, in the casino, and I didn't think, until now, to use them that way. I could have saved a lot of skill fodder if this is the case.

There's no set schedule, and they don't announce it until the day of, just like how global Brave Frontier used to do their events. It just shows up.

The rate down just expired, so I know I won't be doing a large run, and most probably won't either, so you may want to save your items until the next time. I never go much exp as is, trying to level jobs, so I'm not sure you'll get a lot even if you use items. Seems better to use them for Mission completion or when you can stomp the fights yourself when you leech.

Legend Gatcha changes:

The gist is that all characters/weapons/summons, except for Bahamut/Lucifer/Grande and Seasonal/Zodiac characters, will be available via the gacha and surprise ticket purchases. People are saying the current Surprise ticket has the changes, and the Legend Gacha will be updated in July, with previously limited characters like Amira and Dark Jeanne, in the order they appeared.

There's been a legfest like every month since the last Tokyo Game Show.

Valor badges should only be used on the 275 package

If you're not in a particular hurry, don't buy your surprise ticket until the 30th. If a legfest comes right after the elemental rotations, you can save the ticket until after rolling in the legfest, to get a better idea of your teams.

I'm torn between trying to grind for the weapons / all the other rewards and just ignoring it from here since I got all the low-hanging fruit and 1 copy of the weapon. Fighting Adumblah is a lot more annoying and AP consuming than farming the weekly not-primal-summon-thing for the Earth LgATK+ SSR weapon.

As to whether or not you should farm GW, it depends on if you think you can get lucky with getting the GW weapon from the gacha. At 35.5K Attack power, an MLB Anat + Grande friend, with 7 SR ATK+, with two SSR ATK+ weapons, and I'm having trouble with the Very Hard Adumblah fight. He seems to have a 1/3 chance of just wiping you when he uses his special, in over-drive, but if he doesn't, I can generally get him to half health solo, which is about 50 - 70K points. I'd say I'm doing twice as well, as a month ago, and I just bumped up all my weapons to skill level 3, for another 12% damage, so I'll find out soon enough how much that helped.

The question is whether that will get me enough tokens to have a decent shot at the GW weapon. I really don't know, but GW seems like it's not really worth your time unless you have a finished weapon pool and can solo your own kills past Very Hard. Roughly, thats about 500 - 600K if you use all your EP on him and your AP on farming meats, which is a decent amount of tickets. It's all luck though; you could get all four in four pulls or zero in a hundred pulls. The GW weapons are pretty good though. I'm more frustrated then happy with how I'm doing.
