My understanding is that all of the original weapons are good until you start making an end game pool, due to an L150 stat stick. I still haven't read much about the secondary weapons yet, but those seem more specialized then just stat sticks.
Uncapped the Celestial Spear and bought two Tiamat Guns, and skilled them up to L3. I'll have to play around a bit but it feels nice to have 6 SSR in my grid, and I did 1.3 million damage to a fully debuffed Qinglong.
Cannot wait to break out of the mid-level grind. I want to do these EX+ fights to farm more weapons but you need the weapons to farm EX+.
Hopefully Robomi gives me enough crystals to push to a 10 pull for legfest and I get someone good for earth so I can at least try Neptune.
It's certainly a hell of a lot more 'work' to get them without being able to do Extreme +, but I've farmed 50K in the past two days, so it's possible if you have the time to sit and hunt tweets.
Do we have a verdict on any of the new Celestial weapons yet? Have the stats been figured out to see if they may be worth a slot?
Oh Snap! MVP'd my Tiamat during Strike Time, with my alt helping. Nothing dropped, but that was a surprising result. With a couple of Carbuncles, I could make it a much more secure MVP.
My current Wind Team is Petra/Nezahualpilli/Anchira; is there room for improvement in there by swapping someone out for Korwa (if I should happen to get her)? Additonally, how do Korwa's buffs stack up to Anchira's? Who generally does better in certain situations, or are they even comparable to begin with?
Also, Axes or Fists for Dark builds?
In HL fights, I hear you swap Petra for Korwa, and Nez for Siete, if you make him. Petra and Siete have a lot of synergy because she keeps him from getting hit, and he gets powerful the longer he isn't hit, so it's not cut and dry necessarily.
For dark, I've read that its axes, unless you're making the dark GW fist character, and then a fist build can out-perform it. Axes usually are better because of Narma/Vampy/MC/Lady Grey all being uknown, so you can get a Cosmo axe and go to town with the Bahamut Axe, so generally, you see it used more.
Korwa is only useful and OP/broken on longer fights like HL or EX+ celestials. She would probably replace Petra for you until you get Siete where you need Petra's illusion buff to babysit Siete. There are a lot of team setups you could do for HL but Korwa and Siete are usually guaranteed to be in all of them. Like I would probably take Anchira over Petra to baha HL since he'll have so many debuffs and rarely have a chance to do any damage besides ougi.
Axes for dark. Having fists with Six is redundant since the whole point of Six is to not get hit. And you're rarely low enough for backwater to matter with all the sages/bishops in the raids. The only benefit would be +20% attack but claws have low attack as it is.
Not mine but a super end-game wind pool soloing titan after the nerfs.
Spoiler: show
Before they nerfed their HP his previous time was about 5 minutes longer. Not sure if Nio died but the previous kill had Nio instead of Rosetta. Siete useless for EX+ because it's already easy enough to cap ougi thanks to the +50% attack.
Is breaking down weapons or cerulean shards the ONLY way to get melee stones? I'm 4 short of MLB fist and I have no fists to break down aside from a Tiamat fist.
That's annoying. Guess I'm doing some pulls soon.
How exactly do Furry Pebbles and Stones work? Do they function as +2 skill points, and +4 skill points, respectively?
+2 and +4.8 respectively.
4.8 is an odd number...why would they do that?
Also, I really wish the celestial rotation was staggered an hour or two each day, because I've a ton more wind seals, due to when the cycle is, and much fewer earth seals. Not that it matters much past 100, but I'd rather they were more spread out.
24 is a very common/annoying skill point requirement for mid-level SRs and SSRs. 4.8 points means you only need 5 Fury stones instead of 6 SR weapons. It's a bit awkward to use them at any other stage.
Rotation is offset a bit differently each day. The block order is always the same (Genbu>Seiryu>Byakko>Suzaku>Genbu) but sometimes the day starts with Genbu, other days it starts with Suzaku etc, so the same 2hr block will have different elements each day. It swaps over to the new rotation every midnight JST (11am EST).
Legfest is back: Legfes 6/27 19:00 JST - 6/30 18:59 JST
No summer versions as of yet, so hold out if you can.
