edit 2: In hindsight I realize this all falls under the obvious category, but it's sooo muuch grinding. Does your Earth team have enough Balance-type characters to get max benefits from a Cosmos Sword?

Late to the discussion but Balance cosmos is useless for earth since they have 0 balance SSRs. Since Attack cosmos is probably one of the worst things in the game the choice is between DF, PC and HE. HE and DF bonuses are meh so I'd go with PC in case you ever get Summer Vira or xmas Claris. Unless he gets it for future light pool but then uh...good luck with that. I know people who get 15-20 chev red chests a day and barely have 2 MLB swords counting the 1 you can buy from shop.

Every cosmo weapon boosts the attack/hp of the same type of weapon in your pool by 30%. So if you have cosmo sword then every sword in your pool is boosted by 30%

There's 5 types of cosmo weapon. Balance, Attack, Special, Defender, Healer. Each one gives a bonus to that type of character. Some elements have a no-brainer one like balance for wind and light. Earth has nothing really notable besides Attack but the bonus is terrible since it reduces the HP of all Attack type characters by 40%.

The end-game earth pool would be like MH+7 ygg swords+cosmo sword+ baha HL sword.

2.4m honors and just got the last SSR weapon I needed as a drop. Not sure if I want to keep going to 3m to get materials and food or not. Been flooded with friend requests lately, really wish there was a better way to organize and manage the friend list.

So woke up this morning and immediately went to try Cocytus extreme and had zero difficulty with it with new Earth grid/team. Very exciting...or at least it would be if I gave a shit about Cocytus and any of his weapons.

But hey...higher chance for fodder?

I have been desperately trying to justify doing the elemental summons to myself for a while now just to break up the magna grind but it seems like a wash on each of my elements. Fire grid doesn't benefit from Halberd at all. I have a L100 Colo Omega and see plenty of Athena supports so MLB Ifrit is rather unnecessary. Corow is absolute garbage because her aura affects the Normal multiplier instead of Elemental like 99% of summons. Then I have MLB Anat for my "I have a Fire team so I may as well blow up Tiamat for fun" Wind team.

I'm at the point where I may just blow up Sagittarius for the silver certs and skill fodder, lol.

the first 2 SSR weapons for each element are really cheap and easy to get at 100% rate for Bahamut skill fodder, which is nice. I used like 5 SSR from elementals in my spear. I've been trying to finish MLB spear because why not + I don't farm Colo nor do I have a lv100. Gun is good for Earth for now. Cocy is a good sub for water team maybe? Sag/Corow are useless but can be broken down / weapons are fodder / SR / silver cert fodder. I'm like halfway to 4-star Diablo because I got lucky on flips on him so I figured why not.

Also the AP pots, CP, angel queens, and other crap are just nice to snag when possible as another "why not". If you can farm Extreme/Maniac it's worth doing a run or two a day imo if there isn't a good event going on (like now).

Also I've been 100% out of Ygg Magna pops for weeks. I ride the daily casino + BP + hard fights and still barely get 2 sponsored fights a day if I'm really lucky, so not a ton of AP spent there.

She has two modes: Defense mode and Offense mode. She starts the fight by entering Defense mode and putting all her buffs/regen up on the first turn. Important note: She will automatically reset to Defense mode any time a new player joins and uses their first attack round. Because of this, I never open the fight until I've either secured MVP or given up on fighting any further because there are good odds the new entrants will fuck up my timings.

To get her out of Defense mode, you have to Dispel one of her buffs. It doesn't matter which. Any time she's dispelled while in Defense mode, she will clear all of her own buffs and change to Offense mode on the following turn. Offense mode grants her boosted Attack and DA rate, as well as a buff which increases her attack even further based on the number of debuffs on her. She can and will hit for stupid amounts of damage if you try to spam debuffs on her in this mode (I just use Def Down. Attack down is only on her because of Mist and even then I'm not sure it's a net gain for me).

Above 50% HP, Lumi will use her Ougi to switch back into Defense mode, which will need to be dispelled again. After 50% HP, her Ougi will switch to Sword of Light, which is a strong AoE Light attack. She gets a free use of this at the 50% mark.

To mitigate a bit of damage, you can Dispel her while she's in Offense mode and she will waste a turn re-applying all of her Offense Mode buffs.

Because her ougi >50% HP is non-damaging and has a way longer cooldown than Dispel anyways, I don't bother applying Gravity to her since it would just boost her attack. Sometimes I even forgo Slows because her Defense mode is basically 2 free turns of Ougi build for me. I have no good way to handle Sword of Light on Fire-element Dark Fencer, though, so I usually cfh once that's in play.

I do two Tiamat Magnas a day, and am currently saving the rest for when that team is strong enough to go for other magnas, and after I've rolled my 18K+ crystals on whenever the summer gatcha fest happens. Until then, I'm slowly working towards a GW character. Still planning on going Siete, but it will depend on what I pull after all of my rolls.

Well a bunch of old summer characters are getting small buffs on the 19th so most people think it will happen then. Last year they released 2 SR summer characters in middle of July and then there was 1 new SSR available 1 week at a time for 4~ weeks.
