New event Extreme has WAAAAY too much HP for a random event boss. Like probably at least double the Extreme Albacore HP.

Do you guys run water teams, is that why you're pulling? I don't really run water and the guy doesn't look so good as to convince me to start using water if I got him.

Isn't there usually more than 1 summer character? Maybe another summer character in a week?

Looks like he can tank Dimensional Cleaves, but not as strong as Sara (though he can tank for several turns).

Yeah that's p. cool I guess if you're high enough rank and run water to support him. I'll stick with Sara for now and wait and see what happens next week or just dump crystals on legfest I think.

So, EX 1-3 just dropped an Ipatem Replica weapon, which I understand is the dagger base class weapon. Is it useful to keep it around, or is that my limit on owning one class weapon? Is it even useful in its base state? I'm not really sure how much it increases debuff chance or what delay +10% damage means, unless it just makes DF Slow hit harder.

You can own as many class weapons as you want. They just all mostly suck besides Nirvana and Nebuchad. No reason to do anything with Oliver besides get it to SSR.

Ah, right. I was thinking of Cosmos weapons. I'm actually not that far off from an Oliver, but GW is the more pressing priority.

With the Bahamut Spear that dropped, and now getting a second Bahamut Horn, I'm thinking about making a Bahamut Dagger, since most of my teams are three human and an off-race, depending on what I'm doing. As I understand, Rank 80 is their cutoff for reduced stats, but that 30% ATK overcomes any stat loss from using it vs an SSR, right? Also, does having Bahamut Dagger and Bahamut Sword give a human +45% Attack and 15% HP?

I used bahamut weapons as soon as I got them even without meeting the rank. The passive should always beat out a stat stick. Dagger+Sword would be 45/15% when the skills are maxed. Base would be 30/10%

Sounds like I should use Bahamut Sword/Dagger in my Tiamat grid over an SL3 Tiamat SR weapon, so long as my party is 3/4 human, for that 30/10% Upgrade.

Yeah. I used sword+axe for a long time since 3/4 of my party got the bonus and Naru was my main damage anyways.

Have to fight this granny for each class4 job unlock. Only thing I can think of is it being a homage to the Maat fight.

My wind grid is finally coming together now, with an MLB Celestial Spear, MLB Tiamat Fist, 6 Tiamat Guns, Bahamut Dagger, and Bahamut Sword:

The last gun could be SL4, but the required SR give it only 99% chance, so I'm waiting for another R weapon, from tomorrow's draws. Doing around 17K a hit, with the pure wind team I use to farm Hard bosses, for SR character points, but tomorrow, I think I'll try a pure wind team for taking on Tiamat Omega and see how I do in stead of the normal Grande team. I know my growth has been mostly horizontal, but now, every new gun should push my damage up a lot faster then it was just replacing MLB SR weapons. Also haven't had any red chest SSR omega drops in a week, so, sad panda....

That pic is from the Sage fight. I realized halfway through it that it was pointless to do now since I still need another...19 days worth of distinctions to even buy it. I unlocked Berserker for now and I'll have enough for Spartan in a week. Not looking forward to the hundreds of ZP I'll need to get all their crap and passives.

Since I'm on Holy Saber a lot, isn't there a Dragon/Valkyrie EX skill that goes well with it when using a spear? Not sure if there's another skill I should pick up instead of just buffing DF some more.
