So the Ougi animations are killing me.
But no, #1 I dont have VM and #2 I'm playing on my phone. I can do laptop tomorrow night and throw in extra pots I only got through 5.
Worst haul yet drop-wise. 1 of each creed and again no weapons.

Ah, okay. No big deal. Yea, we can do another room tomorrow night then.
Could try playing on browser on phone and forcing a reload. That skips the ougi animation and should send you to loot screen if it died. I haven't seen an ougi animation in months besides looking at new characters.
Also wouldn't expect many replica drops. In the 12k~ AP spent on EX this weekend my group found like 4 total.
Walked away with 4 mage creeds and about 50k rupies. Definitely had a few runs where the boss was dead before I loaded in though so no credit, haa.
edit: Yeah that was dope. 2 DF Daggers and a Hermit staff in our 2 runs and a Nirvana a couple days prior. Plus random Ogre distinction drop which I could trade in but won't.
You can trade 1 job distinction + 1 creed + 1 Red Cert for a replica weapon if the RNG is not being helpful. Shop > Fabled Weapons > Class Champion Weapons > Redeem Replica Items. You can also trade 3 gold and 10 silver certs for a red cert there.
Worst case you can also grind out distinctions by winning co-op matches on a particular job. Eg, I got my Bandit distinction today by getting my 100th co-op win on Hawkeye.
Yeah, they are the real MVP cert. I am at 49 silver certs right now and strongly considering just spending 10 and grinding out some Sagittarius to get an Oliver to make GW mat farming easier to bear. It's not like using my wind team to farm will really hinder me given how much GW farming involves spamming low level crap. Plus I haven't really bothered with this event so I can probably pick up another 5 certs from there to make up for it.
Avarice, your wind weapon skill level grid is like twice mine; so jelly.
I got finished with dinner around 8:20 PM PST, and jumped into my Daily Tiamat Magnas. Thanks for the one assist, Sath; I usually open it at the end and hope for some TH to be applied since I don't use anyone with it right now unless Christine replaces a fallen member. Went full wind team tonight, and it's to the point where it out-performed my Grande team, so that feels like a good milestone to reach; Jeanne, Narmya, & Metera, you've served me well, for now...
Another gun dropped, and I used it to uncap another, so now I joyfully start on the MLB grind for them.
Also, about Ouigis, the refresh only works if it's killed; if not, you can't use any skills until the server recognizes the animations are over with, so at lower levels, it's sort of a pita.
Well for 1-3 grinding it should definitely be dead on the refresh. For raids it's still faster to reload especially if you have characters with long ass ougis like Petra. I just refresh and queue up a skill with viramate and it'll cancel the errors until it goes off. You could also refresh after DJs ougi numbers and that is long enough for no errors.
What does DJ stand for? Djeeta?
Also, regarding Viramate, my UI tends to get foobared when I get that sever message regarding skill usage, even though I have both combat skill queue options checked. Sometimes I just have to refresh the browser to clear it.
I just opened the EX battles, so would love to join you guys tomorrow, as long as we clear 1-1 and 1-2 first. I can use my Yoda as well for quick runs.
Okay, VM up and running. Is the co-op setting you guys were talking about only visible once in co-op?
Also I'm good any time.
I think GG is currently sleeping, but I need another hour or two to finish some things up before I'm good to go anyway.
As for the Co-Op button, there's two ways; you an either select Co-Op from the drop down menu on the left, or you can press the big Co-Op on the second screen. Both bring you to the Co-Op menu, and if you're already in a room, then it defaults back to the lobby of that room, or in the case of finishing a fight, straight to the results screen if it's dead. I always spam auto-attack with as soon as the fight starts, and then press the Co-Op button after I see Djeeta start her Ougi, and with the EX1-3 boss only having 1.2M HP, it usually means it's dead right away with everyone else doing the same.
As long as we start before like 11 EST I am good.
So you guys just press the coop button once ougi starts?
Yea, pretty much. It'll either reload the fight if the boss isn't dead, with the animations skipped, or it'll take you to the results screen.
Just finished the "here today, gone golonzo" the 80 AP sidequest.
What the fuck was the point of that?
