What's VM?

So, I played aorund with the Beta settings, on the graphics, and it's about 2x faster then not using it, even if you have all other settings as fast as possible for animations. It's what I've been seeing in youtube videos but didn't figure out what it was until now.

Also, anyone know if trading in treasures, for AP Pots/Berries, in the normal town shop, is a restock and if when, or is it one and done?

So being at 66% Magna ATK means I should probably be always using Double Yggdrasil since Earth doesn't have any ATK+ summons? Or is there a case to be made for MLB Medusas/Voh Manuh(sp)?

Weird; all sorts of network errors and slow page loads all of a sudden on GB...

Once you're over that 60%, then that's when people usually say to switch. I'm around 100 for my wind team, but I still feel like I get better numbers using Tiamat/Anat. Not sure what Yyggy's active is, but the +ATK fron Anat is nice too.

I think I just finished farming up all of the T1/2 Orbs and Whorls (1000), from Angel Halo, but I'm not sure exactly how many I need, due to some different numbers quoted on the net. The big hurdles left are the Rainbow Crystals, 20x Magna items, scroll drops, story items (+ Mithra drops), and rare weapons. Really hope they do another Magna fest + 1/2 AP event soonish so I can start working on those parts.

Looks like it's currently scroll day, so I suppose I'll start on that now.

You never want to use double magna summons. You want a different kind of multiplier instead of stacking magna

MLB Medusas give 80% ATK and 20% HP, and its active is much better, so I think it'll beat Ygg until you get like 100% Magna ATK.

So, is farming T2 scrolls supposed to be this insane for wind? I might get two on one AP pot because green seems to only sometimes spawn on the second battle and rarely as a boss, where as Earth/Water can spawn on any battle.. I could spend a hundred pots and not be done with this part of it, and I know that Rainbow Crystals will be a lot of pots too.

Sometimes I still see a green drop on a non-green mob, but I haven't figured out why or if every mob has a chance to drop all scrolls, but the majority coincide with the mob element.

I wouldn't farm for them. Just wait till you're almost done and buy the leftovers with cerulean stones. 2 scrolls per stone

I looked at that, before I started, and after that bit of farming, I think I could blow most of them with what I have, and there's really nothing else I would use them on. Thankfully, Angel Halo drops a lot of the Light, so I have 100 of them already and the needed scales too.

Haven't seen anyone banned solely for casino botting or viramate yet. I've seen a whale with gay bulge banned but he always used multiple windows in raids to get way more attacks off and bypass animations. I've been botting bingo for hours everyday and haven't got hit.

Speaking of updates, Pity Advancement Points are being introduced as of this month's Guild Wars. From now on, ranking from #2401 to #7000 as a crew will earn some number of Pity Points which are automatically exchanged for entry into the Finals of a GW event when you reach a certain amount (n>=10). Pity Points are not reset if the crew manages to make it to the Finals on their own merits and excess Pity Points carry over to subsequent GWs.

This gives smaller crews the opportunity to farm up some Valor Badges. Granted, it won't be a very quick method and we should still do our best in prelims regardless. Water cooler wisdom seems to indicate that ~100M crew honors is the point to aim for to get into Finals naturally. With a full crew of 30 that's only a little more than 3M honors apiece, which is grindy but manageable. With the half dozen or so that we have R60+ though it'll be uh... well impossible. There's no way we'll each earn 17M honors in a little more than 24 hours lol. But the higher up we're ranked, the more Pity Points we get, which means more frequent Pity Advancements.

Personally, I'll be going ham in GW because I need 3 more axes and I'd like to start collecting harps as well. I'm probably gonna blow ~100 AP pots during it sponsoring own raids and etc.

Also, I just started using VM (only at home, which is like 25% of when I play) but I love it. Please don't tell me I can't use it now.

Also if casino botting really is more easily bannable now that's pretty lame. I have zero time to grind casino in person.

Idk about VM. Seems like they'd have bigger fish to fry, especially since it's not artificially increasing our dps beyond what we could do if we were autistic enough. As for poker botting, I don't think it's doing anything a human can't actually do either (unlike other hacks/exploits which vastly increase DPS etc). I figure as long as I can still catch/pass captcha then it should work out. They'll probably send the captcha popup out more often though.

I am worried about pokerbotting in a separate window while playing the game now. Not sure if that will ding me yet. I can leave pb on when I'm doing other stuff and letting AP recharge I guess but it'd be more annoying. Just getting all the pots and animas takes 325k a day, plus there's 3m worth of skill fodder that refreshes each month, 5m worth of SR summon stones, and 2.5m worth of SR weapon bricks. It's impossible to complete without some sort of automation or multitasking.

Yeah I only usually do it on my laptop while doing stuff on my phone, and I don't even remember to do it most of the time so I've been getting low-ish on coins. Having to do only poker botting would relegate it to just being used while AP refreshes and I watch TV or make dinner and shit.
