If you're reading about SSR rolls and things from the beginning of the thread, you're a bit late for that. A lot of us started last week when there was a big legend festival event that gave out free 10-rolls (not just the tutorial roll) and doubled rates on SSRs. Rerolling now will likely not net you as much because the tutorial roll can't roll SSRs. If you see an SR waifu you like, you may as well roll with that for the time being since the next legend festival may not be for another month or two.
Edit: Yeah, you can still log into your account even if you delete/reinstall the app. It's just important to note that the email you use to register/login is case sensitive, which is a little weird and had me freaking out for a while thinking my accounts were wiped when I just forgot I had used a capitol letter when registering.
So what's the situation on the NA ver? Will it be released on NA Play Store or will I have to get the JP version still and just enable English language? Interested in starting this (not sure how long I'll keep it since juggling FFRK, KHUX and this would be ridiculous, so I need to decide on 2), but depending on the hassle idk.
Legend fests are actually at the end of every month, so there will be one in a little more than two weeks. Another factor to rerolling is that the selection from your Start Dash ticket ($30 for 10 rolls + a pick) is from the pool of units available at the time your account is created. During the anniversary celebration, the limited SSR versions of the storyline units were available, so accounts created then could pick them. There's nothing special going on now, except for rate-ups for common SSRs, so any accounts created now can only pick from the common SSRs.
The game is still going to be JP-only, they're just making an English language option for the JP client.
People are 99.9% sure that it won't actually be released on the NA Play Store; you'll still need something like QooApp to install if you plan to use your phone.
Kay, i'll see if I can figure it out. Haven't done JP app install before, assuming I need to use a VPN to grab things from the JP play store so I can keep it updated and everything. Have two weeks to get it set up anyway from what you're saying
edit: I'll look into QooApp too. P much I keep all my mobile games to my phone, if I'm at my PC I'm not likely to be playing these.
What type of phone? If it's an android, you can just download the apk and install it.

You can also just play it via your phone browser.
Downloaded the apk, tho I'm assuming I'll have to download a new apk later anyway since it isn't connected to GP for autoupdates for the English patch?
QooApp is the easiest way to install any Japanese mobile games/apps. It regularly keeps a database of hundreds (thousands?) of games and their apk files. You just select the game, and it does the downloading to a temporary storage, then prompts you to confirm the installation; doesn't matter if your phone is the incorrect region. Any time an app updates and needs to be reinstalled, just go through QooApp again. Generally the second it updates on the JP Play Store, it's also updated on QooApp. It even identifies for you when it knows your apps are in need of an update and displays a little symbol next to the game's name on the directory.
Yeah just did it thru QooApp. Now waiting to see when the English patch comes out and how to install it cuz i know nothing about hiragana/katakana. Will keep an eye on this resource site
English is up. No update; just change it in the Options/Settings menu. You'll see "Language" at the very bottom.
Yay. now i guess i wait a couple weeks to start so i dont fuck myself, maybe play around a bit on a throwaway account to get a feel for it before i drop $30
Reading the english after playing Sherlock Holmes with moon runes is so weird
Song/Sorn = Tweyen
Siete = Seofon
Sarasa = Threo
Nio = Niyon
Vampy = Vania
wew. Leave the names alone
Need to get the DJ skin now

BlueGartr Crew (Guild) created~
Awesome. Is that the name or is there an ID? I realized yesterday that somehow at some point I created a guild with only me in it and have just been running around like that for a while. I'll drop it and join up asap.
Man, it's amazing that I can finally read what's going on and not figuring things out by trial and error. I'd be interested in the BG guild as well. Well not surprisingly, I have found quite a few grammar and engrish spelling errors, which always give me grin.
please tell me you did that on purpose
translation is as I expected; shoddy but good enough to understand the story and navigate around much more easily. I'm happy I can finally plow through story mode to unlock guild membership and the casino without missing anything! and I'll have to take some time soon to fully explore the battle system now that I can navigate the menus without having to guess and check. glad I started early with coop/daily missions though; I'm already past my first limit break and it's a good thing.
edit: after having played through the story a bit, I take it back. the translation has its issues (uncap rather than limit break? and come on, zenith was SUCH a cool name for your post-job skills) but the story so far is beautifully done. the characters all have their own unique feel and as someone who has tried to write dialogue in the past that is not an easy thing to do. the dialogue itself is also pretty snappy and witty (chapter 2, with that empire dude constantly getting stabbed by his cohort was pretty funny). overall I approve.
