Got my first one at 867/1357 of the first box. Two moar to go.

Just farming the Very Hard, since it's the best AP to Ticket ratio. I can do Extreme, but it's a long fight and somewhat dangerous even with my alt helping. If this were earth, I'd be wrecking it non-stop.

Spent like 100 pots today and majority went to finishing getting materials for him. Grinded out a bunch before daily reset and thought I was done...then I found out I was missing 40 of two items. Thankfully they were ones with non-terrible drop rates.

Finally got all 4 copies of my bow. Only took over 10,000 tokens. I'm burnt on AP pots for a bit. We seem to be holding steady in the mid-3000's though. Depending on how things look in the morning I may try and tack on a few more honors for more Pity Points. Each 1000 ranks corresponds to an additional pity point, so from where we are staying above #4000 would be ideal.

edit: Related, is there any method/trick for easily converting the nearly 3,000 Normal/Rare weapons in my crate into tuning points? Pulling them into my inventory 20 at a time and then clicking over to the crew page to burn them is tedious as fuck.

Ther'es only about 9 hours left for the pre-lim, but if what Nobota said pans out, we'll probably be sub 4K points by the end of it.

I'm still working on my third sword at about 55% left on the second box. Just about out of bonus tickets too, so I may get stuck at only two swords this go around unless I get lucky on the third box or swap over to Eye spam once I've capped out Honor tickets.

As for donations, I don't know of a way to get them from the crate to the Crew without being in your inventory, but it's a QoL the game should have.

My crew peaked at #75 a couple hours ago and now we're sitting at around #138 with around 325M total honors, and our last Strike Time is scheduled for the final hour of the preliminaries. We just might be able to skirt through.

We're only 65.8 million points and down to #3909. At only 7/12 active members, we're really going to need to merge into another guild if we ever do want to compete.

Looking at the rankings right now, with 2 hours to go the cutoff for getting back up into the 3k-4k range is 86 million honors while the cutoff to stay in the 4k-5k range is only 46m honors. We have 66m honors. I can't grind out another 20m+ (physically impossible with my remaining AP reserves) so I'm gonna sit tight unless it looks like we're in danger of dropping below #5000.

edit: btw noobta that's hardcore af. Congrats! How much farming did you do preemptively versus after you picked up the weapons?

Since it took me forever to decide on a character I had a lot of the materials mostly done just from playing the game.
Yesterday I farmed:

Red Gems - This one would probably be better during 1/2 story and I thought it would be the worst one to do now, but they added a new free quest last month and got a bunch of 3 drop runs using TH.

Toilet paper - Do the 80AP quest twice a day or you'll regret it. I was 5 paper short. Bought 2 with whale tears after spending 200 AP on 0 drops. Took 400AP~ total to get 3.

Hollowed Souls - Didn't need to farm this one that much but it's still terrible. Need another 500+ for my LB4 weapons....

Orange Rocks - Terrible to farm. Can't auto the quest either because a RM slime spawns so you'll have to pop a summon or non-ele damage.

Then was missing 30-40 of some easy story quest items like I said but they drop like 5-6 a run.

With you on randoms. Personally don't feel we're missing much yet besides free SSR Summon LB items and more people to contribute rupies to passive buff upgrades. We might start feeling the pain in HL raids since a lot of those are done as crews I think? But most crews that started at English launch aren't at that point yet anyways.

Re Noobta: That's really cool. I'm gonna have to start being about that life now. It's gon be fun.

edit: Also it looks like we're walking away comfortably in the 3 point range. Not bad at all considering we ranked >9000 last time. It'll only get better.

That final hour rush was no joke, but I think we also overestimated it a little bit. We fell from ~500 to ~1100 in the first 20min period of the final hour, so we ended up overcompensating trying to stay above the cutoff in our state of worry.

If I wanted to try to do co-op progress on normal mode, do I need to use boosts to get people to join? I don't have many of the rare drops to be able to afford many buffs at this point. Looking to do 3-6, and all of stage 6 and up at some point during the downtime between guild battles.

No, people will come for the free drops without boosts.
