So the one cape per job thing isn't so bad after all.

The RoE to get new KIs is repeatable.

I don't think it's one cape per job. When you go to choose a cape it asks how many you want. Only have points to buy 1 atm, once I get to 1500 on my GEO I'll see if I can get 3.

Edit: I'm an idiot, NPC straight up says only 1 to offer. Had 1k points but still couldn't choose 2.

So if you already have one, it won't appear in the list of capes you can buy?

That's odd, why even make them EX only if they meant for players to have only one?
Now choices are gonna be REALLY hard for some capes...

Since it's implied that this entire system runs on a 1 month cycle, (Perhaps points will reset each month as well) it is rumored that you are only allowed one cape per month.

Cleared VD on tome 2 really easily, and Cleared D on the tome 1 after a few tries. Our setup being RUN SCH GEO GEO BLM BLM (Epeo RUN, 1 Idris GEO) We intend to try VD tomorrow. Our strat for D was to run in on everyone and vex attunement so that charm/amnesia wouldn't land. Indi-focus and malaise from the idris geo and sleepga II the ads. Then kill them off 1 by 1 with sch skillchains. Because you don't lose the KI if you wipe and leave, we'll probably use some 1 hours other than tabula in our upcoming attempts at VD.

How do you buy the rings from the Curio moogles? They don't seem to be under any of the categories.

It's under scrolls. Don't know why. I guess they thought "scrolls = teleport!" and didn't feel like making a new category for rings when each nation only sells one. Sandy for holla, windy for mea, basuck for dem.

This looks like you can cap each category then, making these capes really powerful. Good news for us!
I guess the only "limitation" then is in the number of augment items you can get, which have a cap each month, right?
If I'm correct then this "only" means that it's gonna take several months if you wanna fully upgrade multiple capes for multiple jobs?

probably even longer, if it's even possible, since what you can buy changes every month. Gonna be a diff slot every month

On the plus side, should be able to max out on ambuscade in just a couple RL days each month. On the negative, if you're unsubbed, gonna miss out on some BiS for potentially many months (undoubtedly SE's intent). It's like a login campaign on steroids. And if you're one of those 20 jobs types...better narrow it down to 2-3

Pup cape not bad +4 to each base stat. The straight boost my valoredge got was 32 acc/att 23 evasion and 46 def though some of that is base stat and some is from innate/attachment bonuses. And a somewhat laughable 14 hp

Something to note is the repeatable RoE for primers is bugged. Both say orcs but volume 2 is clearly dragons just like the daily one was. Also abyssea doesn't count for the repeatables

Well there are time limits... takes no small amount of time to go farm some mobs like dragons or orcs and come back with a group that can clear. Also I think someone said there was a limit to how many stones you could buy. Definitely a limit on capes (1 of each)

And let's not forget taking forever just to enter lol

Plz check the limit on how much sap/thread/etc you can buy in a month. I think it's 2 max capes per char per month unless I'm stupid.
