The strike zone in this Jays/Indians game is an absolute joke, for both teams.
The strike zone in this Jays/Indians game is an absolute joke, for both teams.
As long as its consistent for both teams, its not so bad.
Unless the ump is giving the outside of the plate one pitch, then not the next.
It was okay-ish up until the top of the 7th when he started calling balls on what had previously been strikes all day long.
I cant believe Schultz got out of that
Apparently cheating is a multi-sport Boston tradition.

Goins pitching and he got out of a massive jam rofl
And now Barney is pitching. Thisgame lol
Goins and Barney both had some nasty pitches. That curveball from Goins was gross. Schultz also deserves a lot of praise for staying in after he aggravated his hip injury.
What a game.

Red Sox lost 21-2 to the Angels today, lol.

Ryan Braun gets called out for batting out of order.

So... did he bat again right away in the 2nd inning? Or did they jump the 3rd and 4th batters and move to whoever was 5th?
If the improper batter reaches base, the proper batter is called out and the next batter in order is up. So in this case Lucroy was called out, which ended the inning, and then Braun led off the second inning.
If they'd realized before his plate appearance was over, Lucroy would have come to bat and assumed Braun's pitch count.

Citi Field home run record was broken in that game tonight. Mets and Nationals combined for 8 homers.
