A-Train's death flag finally came calling. beautiful ending moments saving Hughie + avoiding running through an innocent girl, atoning for his original sin that set it all in motion. calling Homelander out for fundamentally being a little bitch in his final moments, contrasted with his foil in The Deep who gave up his own redemption arc to be a complicit coward incapable of growth, was good stuff.

also Butcher killing his dad was painted as real dark and sure was but fuck that child abusing cunt good job Butcher imo

Yeah some of her dialogue is rough to hear and seems jarring to her character.

She was mute. Not deaf and completely devoid of what a casual conversation sounds like lol.

I think my issue with Kimiko's voice is that it just sounds like they added it in in post. For some reason even though the lines are synced with her lips, something just feels off about the way she sounds.

I believe they said that the Gen V crew will have very minimal involvement in this final season, I think it was, like, specifically they don't want Marie to pull a Arya on the night king moment with Homelander lol

Especially Marie. The entire Gen V S2 story was to show her and Homelander being the sole products of the Odessa Project. She can easily kill a V1 supe too like she did to Godolkin.

Not saying she should have an Arya moment. Obviously that belongs to someone on the main cast, but she definitely needs to be involved in a major way in the main franchise’s final season.

Feels like it would be a major disappointment otherwise. At least let her be the one to one shot Soldier Boy while he’s talking shit or something lol.

I havent watched GenV, looked like it was some teenager/YA spin off series so I ignored it, didn’t expect (or still don’t) for it to have a big impact on the main show, guess we’ll see.
