They could have easily made gen V skippable, but decided to intertwine the lore HEAVILY and now it's pretty much required viewing based on their own plot and implications

there is a brand new character (that they've already mentioned in this season of the boys) that rivals Soldier Boy and Homelander in power and they've been dragging their feet including said person in this show. It boggles the mind.

She (he?) was from a previous season. She was the red herring for the head explosions that Victoria was responsible for. Season 3 I guess it would have been?

ya it's only halfway through but expected more of em. don't need to be in super pivotal roles but should be consistently making appearances. season been p good tho maybe they're to come and it'll be dope.

No Marie as of yet does kinda sucks. Why not just a five minute scene early on to introduce her to the audience? Especially considering how crucial she is to the current story.

And I honestly always assumed Gen V S2 was the last season considering the way the story ended.
