Cheap bluetooht keyboard recommendtion? (ps4)
okay, so I'm tired of using my ps4 controller to have to type messages over PSN.
Both of my usb slots are taken up, so I need a blue tooth keyboard.
The only thing I could find really were battery powered (that were cheap anyways). Is there any cheap option that i can charge on my computer when needed? Would prefer not to have to buy triple A batteries all the time.
Doesn't have to be the most pleasant thing to type on. Just need to send some basic messages once in a while or when trying to add someone to a party, gets annoying have to use the ps4 controller

Not sure how applicable it would be, but the Logitech K400 has awesome range. Yes you need a usb, and it takes AA batteries, but you could get a usb hub and some rechargeable batteries for cheap.

If I were gonna get a usb hub, I could theoretically just use my old keyboard (that I used before I got my mechanical keyboard) but something small and blue tooth would be preference so it's easy to put away when done. My room has enough controllers and wires laying around. A second keyboard is just going to be a pain/inconvenience
Plus idk if a hub w/o a power source is going to drop performance on the devices I already have plugged in, so if not, then I'd need to make room for another outlet, and more wires grrrr

Not sure if you're familiar with it, but the K400 is wireless and has a mouse pad on it. So no wires. $7 Amazon Basics Hub assuming you have prime since you're in college. If it doesn't work great you can always send it back since Amazon is pretty great about that.

I see a bunch of bluetooht keyboards that can be imported from China. Just for funsies, searching "bluetooht keyboard" will bring this thread up as the top result. Tested on a computer I haven't used to lurk on BG with.

I hawk over http://deals.kinja.com/ for deals that pop up. I use a Logitech TK820 (It has a mouse pad built into it) and the battery lasts forever. I haven't changed the battery since I bought it almost a year ago and I think my wife's mouse has had its battery changed once since she got it. Regardless I wouldn't worry about the battery life of any device that's bluetooth.

Appreciate the help, but that one is usb. Bluetooth is the way to go for me here I think.
ps4 is dumb and doesn't have av/component cables so the only way get the sound out of my computer speakers is via usb, and then I use a USB microphone so I can talk in game/party chat.
With wii u
A. it has 4 usb slots to begin with
B. I just use component cables and connect to my PC via line-in and I never have any issues but since ps4 wants to be ass lol I have to use a USB to be able to do line-in w/ my PC
