I haven't seen the Tim Burton Batman movies in forever so I don't remember that, but Bale's Batman was practically a ninja and avoided gunfire altogether. Lucius Fox even said his suit in TDK was more susceptible to gunfire and knives. Anyway, it's a comic book movie and I'm not gonna debate about how bulletproof his armor is. Just saying I've never seen Batman take point blank gunfire like that in a movie, thought he avoided that w/stealth etc.

Bruh every iteration of batman has some scene where he takes a bullet point blank. Keaton even took a bullet to the chest as Bruce Wayne, that's how often people be firing at Batman lmao. You're just misremembering the character because at the end of the day guns aren't really that relevant to his stories or problems, because again he has bullet proof armor that's just a part of his arsenal of gadgets.

They reduced the plating so he was more mobile, which left more areas exposed.

But ya. The Burton ones are still my fav to this day. Danny Elfman is a huge part of that too. It was a perfect storm talent and timing wise.
