PC Build Advice/Review II: 5090 or Bust.

I'm giving some serious thought to Micro ATX on the my next build. Do you think the 350D Micro ATX case holds up as well as their midtowers?

So it depends on your build? If you want tons of cooling, I *think* you'll have to work around certain things if you want to set 2x120mm on the front, as an example
or you'd have to remove the HDD bay.
The front intake still has the same dust filter, top has the mesh thing you can grab and clean, and the insides look rather comfortable for a micro ATX

I'm giving serious thought into upgrading my video card within the next year or so, depending on deals.

Would like to stick with Nividia Geforce but I want to make sure I'll get one that will work with the motherboard, it ain't time for me to do a teardown/rebuild yet I think.

All current (and recent, within the last 5 years) cards will work fine in that motherboard.

*edit* To add... your PSU matters more than what motherboard you run. nVidia's latest cards are very power-efficient. If you're north of a 600-650W PSU, you can run a 1080 easily.

A 520W should be enough for a 1070 or lower. If you end up going 1080 or above though, I'd probably consider a PSU upgrade too.

1070 should be good enough for max for now unless games want more than that, if anyone knows of any good deals I'm all ears of course. I'll keep my eyes open, and yes I assume I'll have to reinstall the drivers once I shove the new card in there.

1070's are still hot sellers so you likely won't find a deal on one anytime soon. But, I bought my 1070 for $409 and change, and it's been the best value I've had in gaming in a LONG time. Very powerful card for 1440p and under.

That's the case I have, lol. I got lucky and got it for $70 though.
Keep in mind that the 750D is a full tower, therefore hueg. Unsure if that affects you.

I feel like maybe this'll be getting annoying, but that's a super expensive 2TB drive lol.
There's various 2TB drives from Seagate/Hitachi/Toshiba under that mark
Actually, probably even a WD blue (which are the new greens anyway). Look into that if you wanna save ~an extra 20$.
Rest looks ok I guess, would say others should give some feedback before you pull the trigger just in case

Instead of using websites like Toms hardware to pick parts, actually use pc part picker. Click each component (storage) and find the higher rated best price per gb. Can do that with every part. Ram and storage benefit a ton from it.

I dunno. For gaming / multimedia and non-overclocking, the board and cpu still stand out to me. I threw together this remix using most of the parts from your list. Saves in some places but more importantly MORE BUILDING OPTIONS! Could apply differences to the (hopefully you intended this) Red/Black theme going on with case fans/led strips (borderline enthusiast levels)

Thanks, Clout's remix did help some. Only concern about the mobo is the ratings for it seem hit or miss on NewEgg/Amazon. I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid or not.

If you're going the cheap ssd route, I think ADATA is NAND, and around the same cost. Just a suggestion tho.

Edit; OCZ just rubs me the wrong way and totally doesn't mean I have a professional opinion on that specific ssd, I just don't gravitate towards it — feel free to use OCZ on others' recommendations!

SSDs thru standard SATA interface is pretty much w/e. As long as they don't have some kind of reliability issue with the specific model in question you're gtg. Performance variance comes in to play quite a bit with PCI/m.2 flavors though.
