What I don't get is at what point how Dominic Cooper ages into John Slattery, lol
#TeamStank forever.
Ya'll are fucking wrong. Its Team Cap. FREEDOM MOTHER FUCKERS
Also, I think from AoS, that I heard them mention "Registration for all Inhumans" regardless of those just trying to live day to do.
Idealy, I'd love to see that Spiderman is a continuation of Cap and we get the rest of the Civil War storyline.
Just saw it, solid 8/10. Great, not amazing. Ending was complete shit, though. Zemo was a great understated villain (though I have no idea what he's like in the comics; I assume more bombastic because that's just how comics work).
Also it seems strange to have a spoiler thread when the only spoiler is that nobody died.
What's wrong with the ending?
It was just a complete non-conclusion. There was no resolution to the central conflict. All the tension and build-up just kind of silently deflated off screen. Which is fine for an art house movie, but really awful for an action movie.
What you saw was the resolution. Tony won - Captain America and his team are now outlaws and the Accords are law. Cap escaped and continues to be heroic in Wakanda.
Really? How?
Roadie got friendly fired and is now a paraplegic(spelled it right first try) BW betrayed him, Panther was never really on his side and is now on team cap. The team is split up now, which he didnt want. He found out the truth about his parent's death, Potts is gone, his new "Boss" is threatening to jail him, and he is now a puppet.
Meanwhile, Steve protected his friend, gained an ally of wakanda(which is huge), isnt bound by a governing authority, broke his team out of jail.
I wouldnt really call it a win for tony. A draw at best but most favorable outcome belongs to teamcap.
It's not a win for Tony, it's a win for the accords and registration act. The huge part of the movie and people seem to forget about it, is the registration act. Which is at the core of the movie. Whatever personal differences that fueled the conflict, were the meat on the bones. You've said it yourself, Tony is left broken and beaten. As he was in the comics. You're left with a feeling of pity and disdain for the man, because once again, because of his ego, he backed the wrong horse.
To clarify, the whole TeamIM v TeamCap should be renamed to TeamProAct v TeamAntiAct.
I am #TeamAntiAct
This movie maybe had a few flaws, but about the only one that is seriously debatable is the entry of Spidey.
I don't see the problem. He was essentially comic relief. And so was Ant Man. Which is fine.
Really you could have gotten rid of almost every character in this movie except Stark, Cap, Bucky and Zemo and it could have been essentially the same movie as far as the storyline goes.
