that Ultron was a much better movie than Civil War because Whedon is a genius

I mean I understand opinions and all, but my brain hearts.

I think if Whedon would've been able to make the film he truly wanted, without all of the studio pressure, we would've had a better movie. He still isn't Nolan/Russo Bros tier to me, but I really enjoyed the first Avengers.

Oh don't get me wrong, I love Whedon. I love every show he's made(yes, even Dollhouse), but that doesn't mean something is a masterpiece just cause he made it. Never forget Alien: Resurrection.

I totally agree, but I think a lot of people gave up on it early because the first like 6 episodes were shit, and to those people, it's a shit show.

I mean with the amount of shit on TV these days, having to sit through 6 episodes waiting for something to get good is asking for a lot.

Yeah, I can't really blame anyone for giving up on Dollhouse or Agents, it just sucks when you're trying to convince your friends to give something like that a second chance. I actually went so far as to trim down the first half of season 1 of AoS to a list of like, 4 essential episodes so that people would watch.

Batman Begins and TDK are still top tier. Yeah, yeah, TDKR wasn't as great, but even some Marvel films can't touch BB and TDK IMO.

I laugh at people who say Ledger dying is what made his Joker as good as it was, and in turn by that logic making TDK a great movie. Certainly it added pity-praise, but he was a great Joker in his own right. TDK was a great movie because it was a great movie.
