Once again with the hipster dodge.
Nolan didn't make that film successful though, on that I can agree.
TDK is the best superhero movie and that is in spite of probably a third of it being god awful. I also rank Deadpool and Scott Pilgrim pretty high for what I perceived to be pretty damn good/faithful adaptations that were entertaining in their own right.
Everything else is literally transformers tier but with better quips and lore.

Damnit I was about to correct you on there being way better movies based on comics (since there's a lot more out there then people think), but you specifically said superhero
Does, like, everyone forget Spider-Man 2 was a thing.
New spiderman from civil war has already btfo old spiders mans in under 30min.
I'll be eternally grateful for this tho.
I actually heard something a couple weeks back that makes me respect the "cool Peter" scene from Spider-man 3.
It's not that the filmmaker thought that this was what cool was, but since the symbiote brings out what is deep within someone and amplifies it, this is what PETER thinks is cool. As a nerdy loser kid, I'm sure this is likely what he would have thought was cool.
Was that not obvious from the first time watching it by the way all the women constantly scoff at him?
I'm at a loss for words that somebody would not be able to tell that on their own.
Found an interesting insight into Stark's mind and motivations

Great read.
I feel like I've already asked this before but I can't find a post of me asking it so:
Is there a substantial plot reason for the lack of Pepper/Gwyneth? Or is it a contract issue? Or neither?
Also after seeing it again tonight, can someone give me the low-down on BP's ring and what it does when it's near Bucky's arm?
It's Vibranium. That's it.
As far as Pepper goes yes there is a legit reason and it stems from IM3.
Gwyneth said she is open to returning whenever Marvel wants her to. They just didn't figure her into the story.
Captain America comic spoiler, though if you go anywhere on the Internet today you will see it:

Comic book thread, yo.
Yeah they focused on something he did with Bucky's metal arm a couple times. I didn't know what it was.
Hmmm don't really remember that scene. Anyone got a link to a clip of it?
