nVidia is doing some great price gouging work, and the consumers are eating it up blindly.
Lmfao. Welp, there you go. Whose first to get one?!

Hey, my Nvidia stock has gone through the roof over the past two years. I'm not complaining.
Kind of pondering whether or not to go with it. Been thinking about making the jump but at the same time I honestly can't think up a valid reason.
Would be nice to set up a rig and get some water coolings on the i6700k and this. Would be set for a good number of years.
Can the fucking 1070 prices get to MSRP so I can buy one pls.
It is nice of Nvidia to keep constantly adding more cards when they can't even keep the previous models in stock.
I just can't fathom what you would ever need a Titan X for. That's so much damn power in one card.
Compensation?
I'm getting either a 1080 or ti depending on what monitor I go with. Get to do a whole new build which means my wife gets my build which is good for both of us.
Gotta maintain that epeen.
Honestly I'm still running a 980Ti and i can't fathom any reason why I would want to jump to another card still. I'd love to make a jump to a Titan card when it first comes out so I can sit pretty for 2-3 years after that.
The Vive would probably see the biggest benefit from a Titan but outside of that there's really nothing.
In all honestly I'll sit on this and do an overhaul upgrade in 2-3 years. When the next generation of pascal come out.
4k@60 is the answer, guys. It's not that complicated. Even the 1080 isn't hitting 60fps on stuff like Tomb Raider.
1080ti will likely out perform titan x much like the 980ti out performed the previous titan x.
The main goal for an upgrade would be sitting above 60fps @ 4k with max settings. There are a few games my 980ti can handle unless you dumb down a lot of stuff (at 4k anyways). I haven't even bothered to get a 4k monitor because of this. Not really about epeen, it is just a personal choice. I don't even bother running benchmarks, i just want a steady framerate @ 4k. I think the new Titan will get closer to that, but i'm just going to wait for the 1080ti.
with titan x @ $1200, im expecting 1080ti to approach $900-$1000 easily, especially considering most 1080s are sitting around $700-$800. definitely gonna stick to 1070, plenty for 1440p and if I need more later I can SLI a 2nd one. just waiting for ASUS to restock their Strix.
Have fun taking a rusty nail and ball peen hammer to your testicle should your card fail, fuck dealing with ASUS. had a $400 motherboard fail on me, sent it in it was under a 2 year warranty they told me they wanted $300 to repair it, I laughed and bought a new board.
THANKS AMDBAMA
Also, why strix? heard they are having bad qc atm. stuff like coil whine(meh), heatsinks not being tightened on the pcb all the way, and something else I cant remember.
Gigabyte g1 for $650 is best value, just ugly and lots of coil whine complaints. Seems like a lots of these gpus have coil whine on every brand
Coil whine has been an issue for a few generations of cards now across most manufacturers.
