I actually want a reference/blower cooler due to my ft02 case as I'll probably be bringing the case along to my next build with me. Never been this happy with a case before. I may switch it up but probably won't.

I think nda on partner non-reference cards is lifted tomorrow, should be news coming soon. Hopefully better prices than founders in the uk at least.
I NEED AN ADULT
Goddamn does that look sexy
The white on it is aluminum, and it comes with a backplate.

O_O
Spec/Prices out yet?
Just pictures atm, like Gryffes said, NDA for the partner boards is tomorrow.
that does look pretty sweet, not a fan of evga, but they are pretty cool now
(so many puns)
edit: fully expect EVGA to have highest overclock until zotac comes out with triple slot cooler
They have issues with coil whine from time to time, but I'm probably sticking with EVGA for desktop GPUs for quite awhile I think. Their customer service is light years ahead of all the other GPU vendors.
I'll get MSI if possible. My black/red theme cannot be broken! I'd jump on Zotac if the price is right. Same with EVGA. Staying away from Gigabyte. I'm not sure about the 980/ti, but their 390/x had terrible coil whine and lack of cooling issues reported. I have to stay away from Asus since their warranty is auto-void if you remove cooler. I'll be using the Kraken G10+H50.
You'll want to stay away from MSI then too. At least with my 780s there are stickers covering the shroud screws and thermal tape inside the shroud to signify when it has been tampered with which breaks warranty. To be honest I've had nothing but problems with MSI customer service, i'll be going with EVGA for my next purchase. Step Up program is nice too.
Wow that's the exact opposite experience I've had with MSI. I've had two motherboard and one gpu RMA and all were very easy. About the stickers, XFX also has that but it's been confirmed that it does not break warranty when removing. That is why I put the Kraken on my XFX 390x and not the Asus.
At work on the phone so can't post links or pics, but Asus, Gigabyte and Zotac have all revealed their 1080 models. EVGA also revealed a second 1080, the FTW version with a larger cooler. FTW version also adds a second 8 pin connector for (theoretically) better overclocking
Given how assraping the import duties are here in the UK, i'm probably going for a 1070, but will wait to see if AMD's offerings are any good. I'm still going to be stuck with 1080 for another year at least, so I don't mind "cheaping" out in the short-term until I get an Ultrawide.
I have had no problems with MSI. I called them about warranty before. They told me that warranty wont be voided if i remove the cooler, as long as i dont damage the cooler. Even though they have a warranty sticker on one of the screws(which i twist off with pliers to keep intact)
Gigabyte has never given me coil whine or any trouble. Just really cool and quiet cards.
Hm, when are we expecting these to hit? General timeframe, I mean
Says July shipping.
July was for the MSi card that I saw.
I'm getting a 1070 as well. Too good to pass up.
