Just got out of this.

Not terrible, a decent film without a lot of heart or substance, but it has fantastic fight scenes and plenty of them. Margot is fantastic as usual; though Black Canary steals the movie for me. I felt she was equally important and interesting as Harley. Ewan really hams it up in a good way; he's such a good actor.

Downsides are the characters beyond Harley really don't get time to get fleshed out in any meaningful way, the kid in the movie is annoying as hell, the timeline skips back and forth a bit which is jarring (but a stylistic choice to show how chaotic Harley's mind is, so i get it) and one particularly brutal torture/murder scene in the beginning that was a bit much to watch and didn't really add to the movie.

7/10. It is not amazing, it is pretty good (especially compared to Suicide Squad), and a fun time at the movies. It is a odd, alt-valentines date movie if your girl is into twisted girl power, and doesnt mind violence

Some critics are heralding it as a brave gril powah/fightam misogyny type of flick... which is probably not the brightest of ideas lol. Anyway, I took a peek inside one of the theatres around 8pm and the place was dead.

Just got back from it.
It ok. Not as solid as say, Shazam, but better than BvS, JL, etc. Fun enough watch.

Dunno the character besides Gotham to say if they're both being true to source, but it felt at points that Messina was cribbing from Carrigan's Zsasz.
