I like the little cuts to 2D for exposition but am not as much a fan of that animation style. Also, why is Megaman using Brave Fencer Musashi rules of having to slowly absorb his power from a target?

That just killed any hope for me. While I like the 2d old school look they throw in there. They turned mega man into a human who wears living armor or w/e you want to call it. Its not made for any of the old school fans and this is purely using the property to market to kids

Not gonna lie, this isn't terrible. There is some real love put into the sprite graphics, and some of the design references show a clear love for the source material.

The only real problem is the whole "Mega man in School" concept and Mega Mini.

This is a prequel to the original megaman somehow... Aki has a friend in school named "Bert" who has Dr. Wily's hair design. I could see this as kind of them becoming friends and then creating a new megaman later...
