E3 2016: Discussion Thread - VR is Mainstream

I'm excited for Dead Rising 4 and ReCore. If I was a big multiplayer Strategy game fan I'd be pumped for the Halo Wars 2 beta going on but I'm really only interested in the campaign for that game.

If any of you are at all interested in racing games and have never played Forza, I strongly recommend the franchise, whether you get it on PC or Xbox.

Xbox One Slim still seems to have some use if you don't care about VR/4k gaming......or you can just play games on your PC and ignore their consoles from now on.

If they don't fuck it up (iffy with how the Windows Store has been so far), Game Anywhere is a fantastic initiative.

Play with your Bros on Xbox while sticking to a PC or vice versa. Though I do wonder how the plan to handle the inevitable issue of kb/m vs controller in shooters or other genres where controller is at a big disadvantage.

As of now I think only co-op is crossplay. Thats how it is with gears. Horde mode included.

Comp MP will probably be platform based.

I'm taking the long view. Exclusives/lockouts suck. MS games switching to being xbox + PC is good.
W10/UWP blows, but, it's going to be easier to break games out of UWP, than to emulate further generations of console hardware.

That's what i'm thinking. I was hoping for Halo 5 on Windows 10, especially given the Gears announcement.
