Light Novel Spoiler. I don't think the manga is as far as the anime. The anime and the manga are based off the LN (so the anime isn't based of the manga in this case).

As far as the LN goes, I've just read the wiki summaries when I got impatient as the actual LN isn't ENG translated. But basically they get the whale to spit him up or they cut him out, can't exactly remember, but he doesn't die in this fight.

DR3 Future EP06

Apparently the plot involved in this episode is heavily based around the Ultra Despair Girls DR (haven't seen or played it, so just gonna watch it on youtube to get caught up), so apparently its not just DR1/DR2 needed to understand completely whats going on, nice though that the whole DR1 crew is getting back together now for the final game, also I really hope DR2 crew aren't back to being evil again, would make DR2 ending so damn pointless as a Red Herring, really hoping the series will end with Hope (DR1) and Despair (DR2) uniting together to defeat the new Junko 2.0, would be a nice way to end the Hope's Peak story and kick off DRv3 game.

It seems you were right. I found a few different chapters at a few different sites, but in the end there seemed to be gaps in the releases so I was missing out on a few things. I just decided to watch the show. I get the general idea of what's happened with the first 2 arcs.

So far The three new Gumball episodes have been amazing and I am really excited to see if The Fury will live up to the hype as Studio 4C is animating the Anime segments.
