I ended up reading some spoilers from one of the wiki for RE:zero. The light novels plot seems to go a bit farther then being suggested here.

Re Zero Ep25
rather boring episode and secure ending. I guess ending with that twist from Light novel would just have a bit too much for a show likely not to get a second season anytime soon
How does berserk get a second season, and not re zero.. WHAT IS THIS MADNESS
It better get a second season O_o
even the kids at the japanese schools ,prefer re zero over berserk (also, they agree that rem > ram)
Honestly wouldn't be surprised if one of the conditions of Berserk's production was that it'd get run all the way through. Either way, I'm sure Re:Z will be waiting on DVD sales before we know one way or another. Wouldn't be surprised if it comes up next summer, though.
Once more of the LN is out. Apparently Arc 4 is longer then Arc 1-3 combined. How does berserk get a second season, and not re zero.. WHAT IS THIS MADNESS
I wouldn't even say that. After the first two episodes the animation didn't have the same frame rate choppiness that was ruining it. I can't speak for the story since I haven't read the source material but I think they did a good job adapting what they wanted for this series.
Hatsukoi Monster 12 - Goddamn this show was flippin' hilarious and that last ep just killed it. Never expected a rant like that coming but probably should've.
The next arc of Re:Zero would have enough material to completely fill a 24-26 episode season and people would probably still be mad about it not being paced right. Then there are like 3 more arcs after that in the novels. Material remaining is not an issue.
Sometimes studios just don't want to make another season, sales be damned. The voice actors don't want to reprise their roles, animators don't want to do it again, other stuff. Lots of shows with great sales and great response have been scrapped from this. Personally I don't expect it to be continued. Where they ended it is largely confirmation to me of that thought. Because if they had continued for even 5 minutes it would have ended on the biggest cliffhanger ever.
Psh plenty of series get ended on biggest cliffhangers ever or right after revealing 10 new plot points in the last 10 minutes of the last episode.
Also iirc some studios just seem allergic to doing full seasons or multiple seasons and would rather just keep doing new stuff. Like iirc madhouse regularly leaves shit hanging and outside a half a dozen titles just wont continue stuff
Ending with the LN thing would have, I think, fit what happened so far a lot better regardless of if this is the end or if more are made later.
Re:Zero ending was not really what I was expecting based off most of this series so far lol. Really hope it gets another season now because I'm not very satisfied with its current ending.
Well it was very clearly a "we don't know if there will be more" ending. So if we never get anymore it's a decent enough wrap up.
Spoiler: show
The Loud House Dance, Dance Resolution
A sweet episode where no one got angry or hurt. I wouldn’t mind seeing one of these girls again. I also wouldn’t mind if something happens between Clyde and Haiku as I am sick of Clyde pointless love with Lincoln's older sister.
Best part was Scott Pilgrim Alternate Ending reference.
Spoiler: show
I spoiled myself on what comes next in Re:Zero. But didn't find if that arc gets resolved or is currently on-going. Anyone know?
Also, big spoilers so don't click if you don't wanna know:
Spoiler: show
Yeah I looked up the spoiler too, because who knows when and if we'll get any more of the show. Not gonna bother finding out how it's resolved though.
I've stopped getting my hopes up over Anime I really end up liking not getting continuation D: No Game No Life, Rokka no Yuusha, Overlord D: (I know it has an OAD coming but still!)
