Even leave said this would happen though..
They were however far more hopeful than remain in regards to just how long it will last before righting itself, if it in fact does.

Now, every far-right lunatic will call for a referendum. Nexit (dutch), Vlexit (flemish, delusional fucks), Frexit I guess too and I want Slovakia to try just so we can call it Sexit. If the EU can survive that phase AND acknowledge that they've been way too left and "ooh we have to take care of every one on the planet so yeah come to Europe everyone", then we may see a stronger, more resilient EU that is more realistic too.
I'm tired of this "left: everyone is sacred and precious" vs "right: fuck everyone but ourselves" bullshit, people are xenophobic, it's our nature, just accept that we cannot help everyone and people will start to like the EU again. Most people don't want to exit the EU, they just want a different EU.
Doesn't this still need parliamentary approval? Couldn't Britain's lawmakers theoretically bail them out?
This is so embarrassing, and disappointing.
Only good thing that's come of this is Cameron resigning.
As a Norwegian national, living in the UK (since 1994), and Chinese, what are my circumstances? lol
Very little change if any for at least 2 years i'd imagine. And I am highly skeptical of long term doom and gloom. For now though you are stuck in the same economic woes of all your fellow citizens regardless of nativity.
My biggest question is will the UK be made an example of or not to prevent other countries from following suit.

Yeh I figured as much, but just in case someone here has secret knowledge over my none existant political interest. Thanks!
In that case, good morning everyone! Here's today's theme song:
Interesting market reactions so far.
Equities have be shellacked. Currency losses from last night have slightly pared. Cameron's resignation has spurred a small rally in certain markets.
God help whatever company is pressing the button at the Dow open this morning. Welcome to infamy.
This is also the only day I've used Instant Bloomberg more than Google Chat in my life. Every person even tangentially related to finance is up and ready niceeeee and early.
I just love that today is friday and the markets will be closed alllllll weekend.
I could hardly sleep.
I'm so excited for US market open.

We need the swedes to leave so we can get a Sexit!
