Quite a bit. I was quite worried about the £1.2 trillion worth of spending he had planned, which is a lot of money for a country the size of the UK. I didn't like the fact he wants to nationalise lots of industries such as energy, water, broadband, railways and god knows what else. I didn't like the fact he was going to write off student debt for people who went to university since 2012, having paid to go myself a few years earlier when the fees were lower. I disagreed with his stance on trident (UK's nuclear weapons), and his views on how to deal with terrorists. Just couldn't trust him on national security at all. His Brexit policy was also stupid. "Let's negotiate a new deal, vote against it and have another referendum." As if the EU would give a good deal knowing that. Besides we're all fed up of hearing about Brexit and want it done so we can move on and focus on other issues. I'm sure there's more things I didn't like in the manifesto but the spending was the main concern.

I can't see that being a vote winner either. Besides, anything the Conservatives privatise can be undone by voting them out of power and replacing with a government that doesn't want it that way. No previous Conservative prime minister has destroyed the NHS so I don't believe this one will either. The NHS is struggling due to underfunding, which can be attributed to both parties over the past 20 years. Johnson has no excuse now not to fulfil the promise on that famous Brexit bus of sending £350 million extra per week for the NHS and he should be held to account if it doesn't happen. If he doesn't deliver, all these first time Conservative voters will become one time Conservative voters.

Seems less like Corbyn is too left and more like you're a conservative and you just realized it.

Labour has provided more funding increases than conservative governments. The infamous Brexit bus was a lie and the conservative manifesto's of hiring 50,000 nurses was a faked number that included retaining 16,000 nurses and was such a bad talking point even Morgan Piers dunked on it.

    But sound off king

Telecom is a natural Monopoly and nationalising it is the only way to get coverage to underpopulated areas that the market won't naturally serve. It's the same concept as carrier of last resort for telephony.

Yea you know they said the same thing about Trump at some point.

Still hasn't delivered on his "bus promise".

A lot of my English family is pretty terrified at what could happen.

This is the truth, and as an addendum we are idiots for making the free market build three parallel telephony infrastructures. We can still have telcos that administrate the distribution, but the government should own the wires. Source: way too much dealing with telcos as both a customer, consultant, and contractor.

It is arguably even dumber than the government not owning railroads.

Seems absurd that provisioning services to the public is a challenge in a country the size of Minnesota with more people than California and Texas combined.

It's constantly amusing to see people not only conflate communism.and socialism, but believe either have any sort of representation in America.

    Thank you

Though If I'm being honest, I really wish I had just posted the "First Time?" meme with the dude about to be hanged. Honestly I feel its much more accurate and you really don't get enough situations to use it. I was just kicking myself in afterthought.
