I know he is![]()
had to s/l a couple times on ifrit because of fucking eruption aoe stun spam, but wasn't bad
titan was a complete joke, used earth resist accessories and his fully debuffed tumults were doing 100 damage
I didn't even use resist accessories. I just used Thancred and Lightning to stun, and had powerchain on deck in case I needed to Insta Cast the RW medica.
yeah titan was a joke for sure, didn't even need to use my second SG charge
Ifrit went down super easy.
Titan was a complete joke
1/1 on both and no xiv synergy gear
Forgot to bring Shout, fight was still pretty easy. Aside from nothing doing over 2k.
Also beat titan using stone throw for irony.
I think it was so easy though cause they were 130/140 difficulty fights, so like.. their HP wasn't insane.
More HP wouldn't have made any diff in those fights. They did almost no damage to me at all. But I did go in with resist gear and shit. Ifrit's AoEs were doing about 200 and I had high regen on due to divine guardian. His single hit fire attack was doing under 100 to my char w/ the major fire resist ring, etc.
I'm actually really anxious to see when they do Garuda FFXIV. Easily one of my favorite fights in a game ever. And that music.
tbh, what they should have done for Ifrit ( or for next Ifrit XIV if there's an easy mode ) is that if you hit Ifrit down to below a certain HP threshold while the nail is still up, you get hit by an AoE 9999 damage unavoidable attack. =)
Something that never occurred to me before. I heard in FFXIV there's an NPC for the Titan quest that claims to have fought "Tidus".
What if this entire time, Tidus' name is actually supposed to be "Titus" and not "Tee-dus"?
That NPC calls him Titan, people just call him Tidus cause idiotic reasons and they like FF10, the story involves you learning that a previous group had defeated Titan before (presumably that story was thrown in to "explain" why Titan wasn't fightable in 1.0) and now since Dalamund broke apart, the beast tribe that worships Titan has finally gathered enough crystals to awaken him for a second time.
Probably just a reference to FF10 since we know they throw in tons of reference to other FF, Everyone else calls him Titan.
Edit: Speaking of FF references in XIV, my favorite will always be Uncle Ulty claiming he fell down some stairs when he fails to trap you and Gilgamesh being called "Greg".
Edit2: Also Kuro, if i'm not mistaken that Galka talks in an accent, so he more then likely is referencing Tidus, but because he has an accent it comes across as "Teetus".
