I just finished my optional quests after Olivert gives The Courageous to Class VII and went back to Garrelia Fortress after finding the civilian and got my ass kicked by the cryptid. Can I come back to that fight at any time or do I only have a specific time frame before I can no longer attempt to kill it?

They are all basically super bosses/NM's across the world that drop some very good quartz gems to equip. You can fight them at anytime up until that point I am at right now.. I believe but maybe someone can correct me.

Act 2 Part 4:

Just gathered all my pieces of Zemurian Ore to craft a tachi for Valmar. I think I am going to pick Sara as my waifu this time, it's funny that there is no actual continuity, and the game seems to force Alisa and Rean more than anyone else. It seems things are about to get insanely epic.. I just have this feeling. Looks like I won't be sleeping much tonight.

CS2 Finale thoughts

Why am I at the end of the game doing the last fights and still getting rescued? It's happening literally at every end of the stratum when the bosses we fight suddenly power up. This is a fucking joke, how the fuck am I suppose to take this shit seriously if we keep needing to get rescued like little babies? We can't handle these guys? Then why the did we even go through all this just to battle in the first place? Rean's attack is like 2500, he can ATK delay and impede ANY enemy, same with Sara, Emma and Elliot nuke harder than they can S-Craft and even can get critical hits. I completely destroyed these guys. This game needs to fucking make it's mind up, I am tired of this horse shit, it literally makes everything you have been doing MEANINGLESS. At least in Trails SC if you defeated them, it was a done deal and it was fair fight, no POWER UP black aura bull shit gimmicks. I seriously love everything else about the game but this needs to stop. I am a LVL125 monster that just bodied all of these bitches, yet the game is telling me I wasn't good enough? Oh and don't even begin to tell me I have to put up with these same villains for a 3rd entry. Fuck this circle jerk bullshit. I was so annoyed I actually held the circle button to skip the entire scene that followed, just absolute patronizing garbage. Everything else is going great aside from this minor complaint but it still fucking bothers me so much. They might as well just retcon's Rean's ogre power too, that shit has been meaningless since Act 1. OH and opening a fucking door. Okay now ends my rage filled rant.

Edit: I slightly do approve Arseid because holy shit that was perfect and unexpected... really so now McBurn conveniently also has a blade on par with Loewe's exact one, what is he also a blademaster too? Lol the stuff they can just pull out, I am very sad they didn't show the entire duel, what the hell!?

Edit #2: Did they seriously remake the scene with Loewe sacrificing himself using Crow? Lol damn if I didn't see that coming.. but at least we teamed up and fought together using our Divine Knights. Apparently they never want to do the right thing and just let the guy live.

OMFG X100000000. Seriously LLOYD FUCKING BANNINGS is playable in MY TRAILS OF COLD STEEL? Is this real life? Just when I didn't think this game could end any better. Oh and this woman Rixia... GOOD GOD just absolutely destroys all the other girls in existence in this game. I can watch her climb up and down a ladder all day in that outfit of hers, dat ass, dem hips, dem tits, dat face, dat hair, dat strength. goddamn I fucking love this. WHY WASN'T THIS MOST THE GAME GAWD. Holy shit all I can say is this is even giving me an even stronger raging boner for this game and Crossbell arc, and this also works perfect because they have already introduced Lloyd so I am sure people will definitely be hyped once the games do make their way.

I think you guys need to wait until you beat the game yourselves and come back and read my spoilers. I am not too happy with the way things ended but I can only hope 3rd fixes all this because it's frustrating to be come this far and feel like complete weaklings still, the 200+ hours we invested in this game almost literally mean nothing in terms of character progression sadly which is why I really like FC+SC 100x more. They really need to change a lot for me to want to buy this or I think I am going to pass on 3rd completely.

I can forgive needing to be saved from McBurn because he's a completely mystery and a total beast, but there's no way we shouldn't have been able to kick Blueballs/Angry Waifu's/Zephyr's ass. I mean we have Demon Rean and Sara on our team so it's not exactly like the odds are stacked against us. I think I would have been more okay with the events of the tower climb if the assistance came to hold them back from giving chase after they recovered instead of the villains powering up and overtaking us after we just dunked them. At the end of the day though I didn't really mind too much because the finale itself was so fucking good that I forgot that the tower climb even existed. I was neutral about the Epilogue, it kind of felt shoved in but I guess it gave some closure to Class VII, the speech before the boss was stupid as fuck though. I just treated it as bonus content and was happy I got to play the game a little bit longer before it ended.

That finale ending though, holy fuck. Best ending to any game I've ever played.
