Maryland is hella minority and hella Democratic but Hogan's approval rating hovers around 65-70% and he commands the approval of a majority of Democrats (not terribly surprising for a moderate that dislikes Trump, granted low-income students free community college tuition, closed Maryland's most notorious prison, and mandated a 40% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030). the blue wave is going to hit hard but for a Republicans in a blue state he's about as safe as one can be. he has been a fine governor and seems a good man though i doubt many of you can see beyond the R next to his name.

I am and will always be an independent. In NYC (esp in BK now) that means that I basically get to vote Democrat anyway because half the seats aren't even contested by Republicans anymore.
