To be fair the existence of the WFP is a weird thing about NY
NY politics is honestly just weird.

Awful is the word you're looking for.
It's funny because I fully support third parties and alternative party ballots etc but in this case it's literally just a bunch of the same groups endorsing the same people for the same shit because it looks better to have 3-4 groups behind you on a ballot.

Clowned on.
they're just saying the same thing he did, he has to die, register as a voter in another state, or run for another office in bad faith. now he probably should do one of the latter two (or the first if he grows weary of this mortal coil) for the good of the party but the fundamental issue is New York's terrible election laws that A) allow you to run for the same office from multiple parties and B) don't, you know, just let a candidate drop out because they want to. absolute nonsense.
now to see which one he chooses
the comments on that tweet are cracking me the fuck up
i will say Ocasio-Cortez airing this kind of dirty laundry in public seems to be grandstanding to her base by riling up bluegartr progressives about the wickedness of the status quo Democratic machine. NY-14 is 80% minority, goes for the Dems 80-20 in most presidentials, and hasn't seen a Republican gather more than 25% of the vote in a House race in decades. Crowley has conceded, has ceased all campaigning activity, and i doubt he gets more than a marginal single digits percentage of the vote. him refusing to die, move, or run for an office he does not want will not impact Cortez's inevitable general election victory whatever.
I am frequently outraged when people refuse to die in order to make things easier for me.
This Cortez woman and I, one spirit.
Ugh, logging into Bloomberg so I can get past the paywall.
