Jesus.
Apparently having multiple scandals among prominent Democratic challengers drives up turnout lol
CT having our primaries today as well. One of the Democrats running for governor is a convicted felon. I'm worried about the fall election though, as the Democratic governor is hated by everyone and CT has had no issue voting republican for Governor in the past
I saw that there's a chance that come January the entirety of the congressional delegation from all of New England will be Democrats except for Susan Collins.
There's a couple tossups in there, including the rural Maine district too.
Actually just one according to the Elliott Morris model - just the Maine district (Connecticut looks extremely solid). Currently all but the Maine district are already blue so I guess it's not that much of a surprise.

60k+ as of 6 PM CT (not counting absentee).
More Minneapolis numbers;
Did the laws change or something? Is the election at a different time?
The turnout difference is unreal
Here's Wisconsin's absentee turnout:

Pretty wild to have more absentee ballots this year vs. the 2016 presidential primary, which was relatively competitive for the Dems and very competitive for the Republicans.
Kobach won the nomination for Kansas Republican Governor holeeee shit.
Turnout was so high in St Paul & the Iron Range (most of Northern MN) that many poll places ran out of ballots.
Also the Republican party backed candidate for governor lost
The Nazi won in Oklahoma and Ellison won the AG nomination.

THE IRON STASH WON HIS PRIMARY WOOO!
Also dems had mores in their primary than Rs. FUCK YEAH HYPE TIME
Edit: Also Tim Pawlenty lost that's a shocker.
What I'm worried about is Greg Orman getting on the ballot in Kansas and basically spoiling the dem vote.
MN Primary Results - https://elections.mpr.org/2018-primary/
Minnesota had the highest statewide primary turnout since 1994.

However, it wasn't until 2014 that voters were allowed to cast their ballots early without having to provide an excuse.
