Military exchanges or commissaries are the king due to being tax free.
Can't get the nicer options (gotta go to bevmo for that) but if you just want some shit to use as a mixer it's great.

You need to discover Total Wine. Makes BevMo look like a wish.com store.
Nearest bevmo to me is like 5 miles, closest total wine is 46 miles.
So nah
People used to do that with cigarettes all the fucking time before they changed it around 2012ish that the prices at the exchange had to be comparable to local prices. Before that dudes in NY or MA could buy them for like 1/4th of the local prices because it was ignoring all the taxes.
But there's a surcharge at the commissary anyway, so couldn't that have applied to the cigarettes?
2 New Hampshire state seats have flipped to Democrats after being declared for the Republican on the 8th. Recounts showed the Democrats in question won by 1 and 2 votes, respectively.

There's like 1,000 people per district in New Hampshire lol
Karen Bass becomes the first woman elected as mayor of Los Angeles. She was outspent 11 to 1 by her opponent billionaire Rick Caruso who tossed more than $100 million of his own cash into his campaign.
Caruso had an early lead when polls closed, but Bass greatly out performed Caruso in mail-in ballots. She's up 6 points when the race was called and the gap continues to grow.
Take that Katy Perry!
Wasn’t it just that some of the automatic tabulation machines weren’t working but you could put your vote in the locked ballot box beneath the machine to be counted later? And if I am not mistaken, because of the 2020 scrutiny, those automatically tabulated votes are then hand counted to verify the results? Did people see the auto tabulation machines weren’t working and then drove to other areas to vote and then complained about it?
The primary for the pivotal Wisconsin state Supreme Court seat was yesterday. Turnout was massive for such an obscure election, but there's so much at stake - most importantly throwing out the worst gerrymanders in the nation in the Wisconsin state senate and assembly.
General election is April 4th.

Kentucky is trying to move a number of anti-LGBTQ+ bills through the legislature. The first one up, a drag show ban, just died. The others are incredibly sinister, including a bill to force teachers to out students to their parents and requiring counselors to report whatever the students tell them to their parents, which is a fucking nightmare for abused children seeking a way out.

I just don't fucking understand the point of this other than malice.
"Parent choice" is the selling point for pretty much any "anti-woke" legislation. GOP knows their party is fucked when the boomers start dying off and all the younger generations they spent decades fucking over get their comeuppance. So they're going with the Nazi/Scientology game plan and turn them early by closing off diversity and exposure to ideology that's different.
If they're so afraid that they'll be fucked when the boomers die off wouldn't it be better to, you know, adjust to appeal to a new and younger demographic? I don't get the point of trying to survive by fucking over a growing, larger demographic.
I get increasingly more disgusted by how republicans (although not exclusively republicans, although they are the leading force) are just basically trying to speed run ruining the lives of women, minorities and LGBTQIA+ people, and how voters just let them. Hell, they seem hell-bent on trying to speed run ruining the country as a whole. It baffles me how people who are directly affected by their policies (such as the poor) keep voting for them.
How can the richest, most powerful country on earth have such disregard for their population and not even be in the top 30 of lists like infant survival rates, life span and happiness? There are countless of studies that show how Republican policies actively make life worse for everyone in the state/country, and yet that's the direction they keep pulling? It's absurd how they keep getting away with it. They keep calling themselves Christians while actively going against every single thing the bibles teaches.
